Cool Kamel407 Lifestyle Log

2006 has been an interesting year, with the loss of some close family members, I kinda put myself last, and everyone else first.

Time to turn back to me.

Enter Competition Time ...

Have a bet with a buddy that I can lose more BF% than him by October 31.
Winner gets $500

Whether I win or lose, it was the catalyst I needed to get back in action.

This time I'm doing a lifestyle change, not going too drastic, so I can train smart without the worry of giving up.

Back to the Basics

Last month i was...

6' 225 25%BF via calipur test
As of right now ... 215 ??%BF
Not calipur testing until a later date

Diet

40/40/20 split in 6 timed meals M-F
SSu not as strict, but stay healthy with 1 small cheat meal

Cardio

MWF 30min morning 30 min lunchtime medium intensity
TTh 30 min morning 30 min lunchtime 30 min evening medium intensity + nighttime ab routine
SSu sports related activities

Weight Training

M Chest/Triceps
W Legs/Shoulders
F Back/Biceps

Supplements
Multivitamin
Whey Protein
E/C/A Stack
Animal Pump

I believe in the KISS theory
Keep it simple
6 meals a day
timed meals
split cardio routines
once per week bodypart training

Will add to this log as I see fit...

On your lifting day remove one session of cardio. Keep only the one that is separated from your workout.

For the rest, it seems pretty intensive... Hope you'll be able to keep up the pace without ending up sick quickly... Take your vitamins, drink lot of water and sleep good.

Good luck

I'm in the testing phase, and will make adjustments accordingly, until I find whats right for my body. Its pretty intensive if I was going to the gym 3 times a day, but I have an elliptical machine at home, so 30 minutes while watching TV seems to fly by luckily.

Good Day Today
3 30 minute cardio sessions
Shot a little pool tonight, and caught a few looks, always nice to know.

Jumped on the scale today, and weighed much less than I anticipated, so I will only be doing cardio in the mornings during workout days as NPayette suggested. Don't want to sacrifice muscle, and will be monitoring it by strength gains.

, still if you have the time too, try it... All I is that it is demanding on the body.

Agreed, but the last thing I want to do is lose too much fat or any muscle while cutting.

Got tons of compliments this weekend, everyone saying I look good and don't need to lose more, weighed in at the supermarket at 212 (with clothes on so guessing 210 without) Didn't follow a strict diet, but mostly ate 6" subway subs (wheat with lots of veggies) Although I didn't really cheat, 1 of my meals I ate about 3x what I normailly eat. Feeling great so far, and no alcohol (yay)

Legs/Shoulders today

Feeling Great, doing heavy weights, sweating my butt off.

Not going down in weight, but still gaining strength, and although my electronic bf analyzer seems to still stay within the same numbers as last week, I've been getting more and more comments on a weekly basis, so I'm not that worried about it just yet. If I don't see any changes by this time next week, I'll throw in another tri-cardio day.
