Default Danimal's Training Log - Advice Welcome

Current Stats

Weight: 220lbs (yesterday was cheat day)
Height: 6' 1"
BF%: Unknown, but I guess around 18%

Workout regimen

Monday - Back & Biceps. Air Force Physical Conditioning (1/2 - 1 mile run, pushup variants, situp variants)

Tuesday - HIIT 16 minutes on recumbent bike

Wednesday - Chest & Triceps. Air Force PC

Thursday - HIIT(morning) Air Force PC (afternoon)

Friday - Legs & Shoulders

Satuday - Rest

Sunday - HIIT

I've been working this program for about 4 weeks now. My diet is clean with 1 cheat day (usually Saturday). I will update with specifics on diet and lifting later.

My parents visited this weekend and they took us out to dinner several times, so I let my diet go to crap. I'm back on track as of today. I also ordered some kre-alkalyn powder and some glutamine powder.

My shipment of kre-alkalyn arrives tomorrow. I can't wait to try it after all of the positive things I've read on BB4U.

Default Began EC Stack

Yesterday around 4pm I took my first dose of the EC Stack (25mg ephedrine and 200mg caffeine) and again this morning around 5:30am. I'm using Biotek Ephedrine w/ guaifenesin. So far I haven't noticed any too severe side effects. I got a little hyper last night with a slight head buzz, but it didn't last too long. A bit of the hyperactivity I attribute to placebo effect.

Just because I haven't been on the community doesn't mean I haven't been training. I have abandoned body building style workouts for the CrossFit methodology. Welcome to CrossFit: Forging Elite Fitness

This type of training emphasizes a complete type of fitness that goes beyond looking good. CrossFitters are strong, fast, powerful, and capable across a broad range of physical skills. I took these pictures today. It's been about 11 months since I last posted any progress pictures.

Welcome back Danimal! Nice to see you posting again. Your training will be fun to follow. Not everyone here is a true Body Builder. Keep up your journal so that we might be able to "steal" some exercises. If nothing else, it will give us more information to help others.

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Repetition rounds

135lb sumo deadlift
Pullups
Plyometric pushups (Clapping pushups)

Explanation: First round: I do 10 reps of the sumo dead, 10 pullups, and 10 pushups. Second round: 9 deads, 9 pullups, 9 pushups and so forth.

Tonight's workout was great! I felt great doing it, and although it was a lot of work, I feel pumped rather than trashed right now.

5 rounds of the following:

* 0.4 mile quick-paced walk under load (50lb sandbag across shoulders)
* 0.4 mile run
* 0.4 mile bike ride

After doing the math:

I traveled 6 miles altogether. 2 miles carrying the sandbag, 2 running, and 2 biking.

I can't describe how good I feel right now.
