Pics.

Comparing the two I can't see any difference. Comparing month to month sucks anyways, I'm happy how things are going so far, I just need to eat more. Chest has grown too (Forgot to take a MM pic or that would prolly show)

how much growth did you expect in a month?
if your not bulking up or on gear your not going to see noticable changes in such a small time frame

Yea same here. I know I'm not going to see anything but I will do it anyways.

I'm not doing this much this summer besides work, lifting, and skating so I was hoping to see some gains from doing nothing besides sitting and eating at work, and lifting followed by sleeping. It's done a lot for my strength at least I still want that 365 squat (3 plates and a quarter on each side.... huge!) for 5 reps.

CR I have always been very impressed with your physique, lift weights and your potential. Its obvious things are working for you. Just keep at it.

As you well know it takes time and dedication, to training, diet and rest above all things, and these are easy when your new to BB, you have that "new" feeling of motivation, that fresh start.

What people forget is that when your at it for a few years its gets harder as the gains slow, progress is measured in mm not inches and the effort needs to be increased on each front.

The day you touch the juice you will undoubtably will reach new heights as you are seasoned at what needs to be a lifestyle in order to have success at this game.

Well done mate.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to surferph34 again."

Thanks man. I'm at it just over 3 years now so my gains have slowed down. Funny thing is I still get that 'new' feeling whenever I make gains.

If I go by what I planned, I have less than a year, assuming I hit a 350lbs bench for one and 400lbs for 5 reps by then, before I begin to finalize plans for a cycle. It's something I am going to get a lot of flack for but oh well, it might or might not happen.

Oh, and as far as living the lifestyle, I have been for the past 2 months. When I get my apartment in 3 weeks I've already learned 5-6 different ways to cook chicken and have something like 40-50 a week I can spend on bulking food alone, plus I am going to cut the drinking down to almost non-existant. As well as applying for a PT job at a gym once I take my ACSF exam in 2.5 weeks.... so yea I am going to be living the lifestyle. I'm going to get huge

Back workout.

Had a high fat meal about an hour before the workout, and had no energy. Since everything else should have been good (preworkout stims, sleep, food throughout the day) the only thing I can think of is that having a high fat meal pre workout drains my energy. Live and learn.

Deads
Super easy weights. Just wanted to get a pump and spare my back any heavy loads.
135X5
185X5
165X5
I was doing my friends weight which is why there is a drop in weight. He is new so I made him drop weight to keep form.

Pullups, weighing in at 205lbs
+0X8
+0X6 (Widegrip)
+25X5
+25X4 (DOH!)
+0X6 (Widegrip)

Cybex lat row
180X8
215X8

Seated Row
15X6
15X6
Too much weight last set.

Barbell curls
95X6
105X6 (Struggled with weight, last rep was crap)
85X8

Bleeeeeeh I am done for the night. I need a shower and to sleep for about 10 hours.

Oh yea, it should be fun. I've been talking to a lot of people on other boards and it seems like I am either going to do a short run with prop, and/or an EQ only cycle for 12-15 weeks. This is a board that doesn't like the 'test with everything' concept, should be fun once the times comes, but I have a lot of work until I get to that point.

No reason really. I know my first cycles are going to involve test and EQ (I hear a few things about this that make me really want to try it). I'm worried about gyno for one and prop allows me to drop the test quickly if I can't control my gyno symptoms with an AI or Nolva, and getting gyno on EQ is nearly unheard of. Plus EQ seems a bit milder so I might want to run that rather than have explosive gains and not know what to do with them.

I've got plenty of time to think about it, I was just throwing some ideas around. I can always go back to the tried and true 500mg Test E for 12 weeks.
