Not at all, you didnt approach aggressively...to be honest, i think 4-6 sets for biceps is way to low, I usually do 9-12 sets for each body part, and i think thats fine, im seeing gains. i think 4-6 is really undershooting it. When i workout back to back, its only because my work schedule prohibit anything else. its pretty much, "I'll take what i can get"

Fair enough. I personally dont treat all muscles the same. Biceps are a very small muscle group and dont need as many sets a say chest which is a much larger muscle group. If your gains start dwindling then youll know where to look.
