I just looked up the Destroyers and theyre an Arena football team. Those guys are paid i believe and theyre all former college players. basically pro football. Thats a little beyond my ability but if you can swing it then i say go for it.

Im sure theres a columbus team in the same league though ill have to look.

Yeah, I thought what you were doing was Arena. What league are you talking about? I will look into that.

If you see something in Columbus, Dayton, Cincy, or even Indianapolis - let me know man.

01-04-07

Flat bench
warmup sets
275x6
305x2
335x1 Very scary moment. I unracked it, went down, then when i started pushing up it felt like my left arm was gonna break in pieces. I completed the rep but im not ready to be pushing that much weight yet.

265x8

Incline Db press
100x8
100x9

Cleans
145x10
175x6

I decided to go for the gusto tonight and i almost learned a lesson the hard way. This is what happens when you start taking steroids after only a year of training. Im lucky i didnt break my arm, ive seen it happen many times. I started anabolics cause of low test but its obvious i need to be very aware of my limits. my supporting tendons/ligaments are not ready to push that kind of weight even though the muscles are. i think the 275 range for reps is a good place to be right now for me.

May more people take heed to your advice Mitch. Taking roids may make one think they are invincible only to find out they are not. Glad that you did not injure yourself. Way to keep your head on straight. I'd rep ya but I have to whore around more...

Thanks Surfer.

Legs

Box squats
warmup sets
285x8
300x6
315x7 *PR*

Seated calf raise
160x10
160x9
160x9 Fvck! my calfs are cramping.

Sldl
135x8
185x5
225x5
275x7x2

Adductor/abductor
setting 17x12x2sets

New Pr on squats. If you look back on my log over the summer youll see bigger #'s but since i wasnt quite going to parallel, those #'s are dead to me. Now I go past parallel on every rep of every set and i do it with much better form so i consider it a new PR I guess.

since you are going lower on the squats, i would consider them PR's. I remember doing 315x10 box squats in high school but it was no where near parallel. Have you tried going below parallel on box squats?

Yes, these box squats were past parallel. My butt is less than 12 inches from the floor. Boxes come in all shapes and sizes but this particular one is homemade and constructed so it has 2 different heights, 10 and 14 inches. When i use the 14 inch side that puts me right at parallel. 10 inch obviously puts me below and thats what i was using tonite.
