Default $$g Chile's Log$$

AKA TorontoMofos LOG.

Ive been inspired to start one in this community because its not crowded and nasty like bodybuilding.com.... that place blows!!

Anyway, i figured this would be a little extra incentive for me to really focus and train hard.

My current weight is between 165-170 lbs at 5'8.

My 4 day split will look like this:

MON: Chest + Biceps + Forearms

TUES: LEGS. Legs are important, so ive learned...

WED: OFF

THURSDAY: Shoulders + Triceps

FRIDAY: Back + Abs.

I will not be doing any cardio during the time that im on NOk2, the supplement which I have decided to use. And whey powder ofcourse.
Im aiming to eat as clean as possible 5-6 times a day.

In a couple days I will also start working constructin, so im gonna have to eat like a pig.

Anyway you read my stats, my 4 day split, and my supps.

Wish me luck! I wanan gain ATLEAST 10 lbs of muscle.

(I used to be a skinny biatch, my current pics as of Monday 29, 2006, are in the member pics section if you are interested.)

Eat like crazy bro! With a job like that you are going to need all of the calories you can get! Also, I would change your routine to look more like this:

Monday: Biceps/ Triceps/ Forearms

Tuesday: Legs

Wed: Off

Thursday: Chest/ Shoulders

Friday: Back/ Abs

Chest and Biceps on the same day just seems a little strange to me...Just a thought...

yea thats what I used to think too... the thing is that people always have different opinions and I think I wanna give it a go.

I thought that doing biceps and triceps on the same day was a nono?

Well, I guess you could do chest first and then it might be ok (definitely not the other way around)...I just have never really heard of biceps and chest being done on the same day. Usually people do chest/ tricep (not the best idea due to the possible overtraining of triceps), chest/ shoulder (my favorite as of late), or even a stand alone chest day.

I tried the bicep/ chest thing a while back and didn't like it all...Felt weird in my pumped chest when doing standing curls...The tightness restricted me or something...

To each his own though...Just unusual IMO...

Biceps and Triceps on the same day is just fine. It has really helped my gains in my arms. I actually learned of Bi/Tri day from Jim (BB4U Administrator) the first day I joined this site in his workout plan that he has on the main BB4U page...I like it, but that is just my preference.

That's what I was about to say

I myself have always trained them this way the majority of the time and I have seemed to get the best results from doing so...

One thing is for certain, it motivating big time to see a totally pumped arm from front to back, both bicep and tricep......I have had 1 inch pumps before! That is a great visual!!!!

My logic is that ill be getting a solid heavy compound workout + isolation of the biceps and being able to work your them much harder than if you did them after back...

And if its just triceps and bi's, theres no serious compound stuff excersizes besides close gripz... nearly the same thing really... except id feel like my arm is about to explode if i pumped my bis and tris hard on the same day!

Gotta watch out for them strechmarks....

BB curls and skull crushers ARE the biggest mass builders for biceps or triceps - IMO

I personally never work out my back and bi's together
I'd rather work my biceps fresh, therefore giving them the chance to lift the most weight - therefore leading to the most growth

But hey, we all work out differently, I just wanted to chime in that I work bi/tri's together.

Good luck

May 29, 2006

just got back from the gym.

I did chest and biceps and it was a great workout. I did bench (5 sets), I went heavy on the first 3 sets, then just did 2 sets of 145 at like 12 a piece.

Bicept workout was fine. Nothing crazy but I did curl hard and did some reverse preacher curls (for my forearms). Normaly I have skinny wrists but I couldnt put my fingers around them after the pump. Well, I cant if spread out my hand as if i was trying to get a grip on a basketball either.

Oh man the pump is great... well, Im not gonna lie, i blazed a spliff with a friend before, but I had a great workout! Very intense.

Today was a good day, ive only eaten four times so far. Im probably gonna eat once more and then have a P shake before I go to bed.

Weight: 169.6 lbs.

May 30th, 2006.

Took my NOk2 pills, alot of chicken, potatoes, beans, salads, and more chicken throughout the whole day + 3 protein shakes.

Worked legs.

Satisfied because I had troubles walking down the stairs at the gym, but my "high" from working out my legs wasnt as intense as last weeks leg workout.

Whatever.

Im making sure I eat and lift heavy.

Thursday June 1, 2006

Well, I woke up even sicker.

I just got back from the Doctors... I have strep throat (strep?). Im on antbiotics now.

I got it for my friends house... well, looks like this week ended up being a bust... my body needs to recooperate and my throat is killing me sooo bad!

It hurts too much to workout and I dont think that would even be a good idea.

I will not work out today, probably not tomrrow, and MAYBE saturday just to compensate for Thursday + Friday..

Eating is a hellish experience.

FUK YOU STREP THROAT!!!!!!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
