I don't have alot of options with the equipment that I have. I don't have a barbell right now or an EZ bar...I do my skullcrushers with DBs one armed...I lift at home people and I am poor...

I don't see anything wrong with 6 sets for biceps.. but I agree that you should be hitting triceps harder with at least 6 sets, and 8 would be better.

I also agree that concentration curls should, be after heavy standing curls of some sort...

can't wait to see some biceps pics.

I was hitting triceps alot more in the past, but my gains have really increased since I have gone with fewer sets...Maybe I was overtrained or something. Next week I will add some tricep extensions or maybe a few more skullcrusher sets.

My biceps are one of my strongest areas. I am really thin, but I can curl 45's now...2 reps, but hey when I started I could barely do 20's...

I didn't use concentration curls at all until a few months ago, but I will change it up and do the standing curls first next week.

Leg day this evening!

Well, the routine I did yesterday is pretty representative of my Bi, Tri, Ab workout so you know those already.

My typical shoulder workout:

Upright Rows 3x8

DB Press 3X8

Arnold Press 3x8

My typical leg workout:

Weighted Lunges 3x10-15

Squats 3x15

Weighted Calf Raises 3x20+

My typical back workout:

Shoulder Shrugs 3x20+ (Need Heavier Weights!!! )

One arm rows 3x10

Bent over lateral rows 3x10

Sometimes Pullups (I suck at these and I don't really have a pullup bar)

My typical chest workout:

Flat DB (Swiss Ball) 3x8-10

Incline DB press (Swiss Ball) 3x8-10

DB flyes 2x8

Sometimes pushups are thrown in to finish out chest...

X-Factor Update: Took my 6th dose about an hour ago and I haven't experienced any of the "strange feelings" in my head or my arms that I had following my 1st and 2nd doses, but I am getting unusual pumps in muscles I haven't worked in several days. My chest feels really pumped and tight for absolutely no reason and so do my lats. I don't know why the X-Factor would be causing this, but this is not the sort of thing that just happens to me at random. I haven't worked either muscle group since last week...Who knows...

The DOMS is making it's presence known in my biceps and triceps though...I don't normally get DOMS until the 2nd day following lifting (if at all) so this is unusual as well. It isn't particularly intense, but feels a little different than regular DOMS. Again, it is probably in my mind, but who knows. I feel like I might be sensitive to this stuff!

One of the main side effects of X-Factor seems to be increased post-workout soreness. That would explain the feeling.

I know that increased soreness is supposed to happen, but alot of people said that it didn't really take effect until a few weeks in. It isn't the typical soreness either...It is different...Hard to explain...

Well it could be like you said, You're body might be reacting to it differently, but prostaglandins do mediate inflammation in the body, so if you have any type of an inflammatory issue (arthritis is a common example), taking X-Factor may exaggerate its symptoms. Do you think this could have anything to do with it. Probably not, but just thought I would ask.

Nah...I don't have arthritis and there isn't a history of it in my family and I am not aware of any other inflammatory problems (I very rarely even get headaches). The pain is not joint related either. The pain is similar to DOMS, but not the same...I think I am just sensitive to Arachidonic Acid. Who knows...I am not worried about it...Thanks though!

It probably does have something to do with the high levels of Arachidonic Acid??? But nothing to worry about. Sounds like X-Factor is going to work out good for you.!!!!!! And you're welcome bro anytime. !!!!

As you stated you have felt more soreness. I saw in an ad this increases muscle soreness... Kind of strange, huh??

A few more training notes:

I don't have heavy enough weights to do deads (Or a barbell for that matter). I guess I could do light deads, but would that even be worth it?

My traps are probably the strongest asset that I have (I am pretty sure it is genetics, but they have grown signifigantly more than anything else on my body) and I don't get nearly the workout I want to when I do them because I don't have enough weight. The max weight I can shrug (with my limited equipment) is 100lbs and I am pretty sure that I could shrug 200+ lbs...

Is sort of strange...The theory is that the increased prostaglandin levels trigger a greater hormonal repair response and an increase in protein synthesis...If I am remembering correctly...

I only decided to take this stuff because of the different logs I read. Alot of people were pretty satisfied with it and with the lack of steroidal sides it just seemed like something worth experimenting with...I read alot about Arachidonic Acid before taking X-Factor...Seems like a safe bet.

how old are you traz?
why not join a gym?

i know this might sound harsh but i think your wasting your money using this supplement now seeing you cannot train hard with heavy weights.
Its like being on a gear cycle and having only a chrome dumbbell set and a swiss ball

the money you have spent on this supplement could have no doubt bought a bench and a barbell, pro-H are not cheap
