Hey guys, I am excited to tell everyone that I am making gains in strength and a little bit in the muscle category. I am not really gaining any weight, but that is not my ultimate goal. I am doing a 2 day full body workout minus back exercises, because I really hurt my back a little while ago and I am letting it heal. This is my routine, it is pretty basic.
Monday and Friday Flat Bench-1x10,8,8,6,3 Military Press-1x8,6,6 BB Curl-3x6 Skull Crushers-2x6-8 Leg Curls-2x12 The other days I just play bball or rest and eat. I am going up around 5 pounds a week on my lifts and my max from about a month ago is now my 3-4 rep max on the bench. That is pretty exciting, I think that I have finally found something that works for me. Also, I got a call back from the state prison that I am trying to get on as a C.O. and they said I should be working at the end of this month. Another accomplishment I have had was that I did 55 nose to the dirt pushups in a minute, I am getting ready for the physical fitness test. Also, I traded off my superdrol, I may regret it years down the road, but I will worry about it then. I am currently taking in about 100-150 grams of protein from GNC Whey and Muscle Milk. I am eating 4 meals a day with a total of around 3000-3200 calories. I am still about 133 pounds, but that is fine with me as long as I am getting stronger and more muscular. My abs are starting to come through a little more and my chest is looking a little better. I look forward to lifting everytime I go to the gym or my basement. I will keep you posted on my progress, thanks for all the guidance. My Goals for the next 6 months are: Body Weight 140-145 with 12% bf Bench Press-210 x1 BB Curl-100-110x1 Military Press-125x1 Pushups in 1 minute-60.

I dont know if you know this but when you start a journal, youre supposed to post a reply in your own thread everytime you want to update it. You dont strt another thread for every update or gym session
Maybe one of the mods can wait till you transfer this to your first journal entry and then they can erase this thread you started. Best of Luck! p.s. Did you say you take in 100-150 grams of protein from GNC's whey protein and Muscle Milk only? I would say youre relying a bit too much on supplements bro. Get some meat in that diet! |

Hey guys, today is Wednesday, which I normally don't lift on, but I did a light day to try to work on my speed. It seems like my bench keeps going up from day to day. I just did 135 and tried to get that great push from the bottom so that the momentum would carry it up. It seemed to work because I got in 2 more reps than normal on that weight. I worked my legs a little today on the sled since I can't squat. I concentrated on using less weight with only 3 45's on each side and went really deep. I went deeper than I ever have on that thing before because the sled caught itself and would not go any farther down. I probably looked like a bullfrog with my legs behind my head, but it sure did give me a good workout. I am still keeping the consisten diet of 5 meals a day sometimes 6 with at least 130 grams of protein. I am not really looking any muscular, but I am getting stronger. I went to get my test levels checke yesterday as a lot of you know. I can't wait to get the results friday so that I can either put this behind me or get some treatment. I will keep you posted and let you know how it went as soon as I here something. Oh yeah, i weighed 134 today, so that maybe a little improvement.

dont worry toooo much about how much weight u are pushing. make sure ure form is right. You dont wanna bounce or have momentum pushing you through the exercise but you want your muscles to be doing it all without help from momentum. It will allow you to grow better.
just cause ure piling more up on the bar doesnt mean u will grow better. If your form is perfect and you have a lil less weight, you will grow better than if you pile on more weight than you can do with perfect form and swing or use momentum to get it up. |

By momentum I mean that getting enough push and speed on the way up that it helps to lock out. I don't think there is anything wrong with doing that. Most of the guys on here suggest it. But, I see you point to. I just feel that is correct form. I am not bouncing or anything. I actually pause for about a half a second before I go up with it. But, thanks for the info.

I am doing pretty good today. I am excited to get my bloodwork back about my test levels and cholesterol. I am really making some strength gains in the weight room. Not really big gains, but bigger gains than I have made in my life. In just 3 weeks or so of a new routine, I went up to doing my 1 rep max 3-4 times on the bench. I am eating very clean, but still not gaining any weight. I eat so much that I get sick, so I am just going to keep lifting hard and one day results will come. I just can't wait to figure out if I have low test or not and get that off of my back.

As far as the strength is concerned, a low test level will affect your ability to lift more weight, so I guess it might be ok, but who knows. Keep eating though, Sooner or later your methabolism will slow down a little and you will start gaining weight.

It's normal to feel like puking when you bulk. I am not ever hungry and I am flatlined on my body weight. I am actually trading a pound of fat for a pound of muscle. I don't know how much longer I can do it. Got to get to like 12% and work my way back to 200 pounds myself. Eating is not fun, of course I never liked food, probably why I can hardly gain weight either.
I already had; 6 egg-2 whole 4 egg whites Oatmeal Glass of 2% milk-10 ounces 12 ounces of steak a can of asperagus-2 1/2 servings peanut butter sandwich on wheat an orange protein drink slice of low fat cheese and two meals to go...... Probably more steak another slice of cheese 3 berry mix with fat free milk and some oats 10 ounce glass of 2% milk

I lost track of time and thought it was friday. i called the doc for the results, but then they told me they wouldn't have it until tommorrow. I can't wait to hear either way. I will post up the results as soon as I get them.

Hey guys, I playe bball today and really jacked my foot up. I bought these 10 dollar walmart shoes 3 weeks ago and they are ripping the bottoms of my feet off. I have ruined two pairs of socks with blood. I told those guys I had to stop playing and they gave me hell until I took my shoe off. Then they told me ok. But, anyway I will post my test results tommorrow if the doc calls me.

Well guys, I got my test back and my level is low at 310 with th enormal being 350-950. They said at 21 Mine should be around 500. I am going to start test injections soon. I just wander what I can expect from them. Will I get stronger and if so how much and how long will it take.
