did the usual yesterday..as said before, I am on monohydrate so I took one scoop prior and one after workout. the chest is pumped like a mofo after yesterday's workout and feeling a little bit of soreness all around the chest area..Thinking about taking glutamine to off set the soreness but as of right now I really don't think it's that bad so I wont until I really feel the need to take it.
I will probably up my chest work outs to 25lbs all around to start next week's workout as my starting point and same weight increase increments. I desperately need a workout partner. Anyone workout at 24 hour fitness around san fran/ bay area? I don't use whey for anything other than right after I work out...but for getting the protein to your muscles fast after a good lift nothing beats whey!

Dang. I didnt expect to be so sore from the endurance reps that I am currently implementing in my workouts. I thought creatine was supposed to offset the build up lactic acid??
Anyways I am in this training where I am doing 3 sets of 20 in all of my exercises and it is a killer..I had to lower all my starting weights down so I can actually do 20 reps. Anyone else doing the endurance exercises??

I thought you weren't using supplements?
Either way Creatine only helps a little with DOMS...I don't believe that it really affects lactic acid too much...just helps you recover quicker...

I am up to 190 lbs my self...I am 6'2" though so I still feel pretty thin...Still pretty good though considering I weighed 140 lbs in May 05'.

wow! that's a pretty good gain, you and I are in the same boat..I am currently 190 down from 220..but I am only 5'8" so you got me by a mile on height..maybe I will grow some more....NOT!!!
Have you posted any pics yet?? maybe it would be a great motivation factor if you, buff and I start a sort of contest or something...you up for it??
