Even though you are trying to burn fat Cookie, you should still go for the 6 small meals a day. What you are eating looks good, just have some more protein and I think you will notice a difference. It will actually help you lose weight as it causes your body to be constantly burning calories, instead of periodically. Keep up the good work though brother!

Yep. Eat more. If you eat less, then your body will start storing more of what you eat, making you fat. If you space your meals out over the course of the day, then your body won't need to store anything because it will get everything that it needs.

And why wouldn't you lift heavy? The harder you work, the more calories that you'll burn, and lifting actually burns quite a bit of calories when you go to failure. When I lost over 75lbs, I stuck to mainly lifting 5x a week. I did run a little, but it was mostly lifting that got me there.

Best of luck, dude.

EDIT: Trader Joe's rules.

thx for the reply guys.

its hard to eat 5-6 meals daily because my schedule is pretty busy at school. im taking bio, anatomy, stats, political science. and my bio and anatomy and stats class are all on the same day.

so im pretty much in school all day on my mon and wed.from 7am-730 pm.

oh and ive been frustrated at the fact that ive only lost about 2 pounds in about 3 weeks. because when i first started dieting i lost 30 pounds in a month and half.
but during that time i had 5-6 meals daily and including 2 shakes a day. 1 as a mrp and one after workout.

oh and some info about myself
age-20
weight-265
height- 5'7
bf- not sure
i was a lineman at my hs.

monday-chest/tri 20 min cardio
tues-shoulders-40 min cardio
wed-back/bis-20 min cardio
thurs-abs-40min cardio
fri-sat- cardio other than stationary stuff. like tennis, hiking, swimming, jogging at a park.

this usually varies between days depending on the amount of time that i have. but i usually go around 10pm.

Sounds good man....I like a bi/tri workout day...but that is just me.....bump on the heavy lifting. You want to build more muscle to raise your metabolic rate....high weights/ low reps my friend that is the name of the game...hey and if you already love it then why the hell not??? ....you will get there just keep up the intensity.

You will probably end up changing your routine from chest/tri's after you get stronger and burn out your tri's on chest, but keep up whatever works brother. You seem to have hit a plateu in weight loss, maybe switch up your routine a little see if that can shock the body into changing?

Just keep up the cardio man...I know it sucks, but it is a sure-fire way to get rid of the excess fat. Are you doing HIIT? I haven't tried it yet, but it is supposed to be great....Bump on the ON protein!

i have a few rtd drinks left from before. like the myoplex lite. pretty expensive but i just wanted to just put some powder in a bottle and carry it around and add the water when i need to drink it. just to save money

ya i think ill change my routine up after a little while but now it seems to be pretty good. after i stop getting so sore after my workouts.

i kinda have hit my wall but im going to just try and push through it. bump up the cardio by maybe 10-15 minutes per workout or maybe more. and lift little heavier weights.

ive never tried hiit i started to read about and got to confused and said forget it. i did hear its good from alot of people though.

as or protein, should i take 1-2 grams per pounds of my weight or per pound of muscle mass?

did chest and tris today. it was pretty good. i had a nice pump from something. and was pushing my normal weight and it was pretty easy. so it felt pretty good.

tried the "double chocolate ON shake" pretty good i had it with room temp water about 8oz. not bad. it was alot thinner than the myoplex lite rtd that i used to drink.

gonna order some green tea extract w/ginseng viles. hopefully to get a nice boost of energy.

I would stick with the baseline of 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight, maybe go to 1.5g's. I had that double chocolate as well, it is kind of weak tasting, but not too bad. I have rocky road now.

Rocky road is weak too, but I don't mind it, smells better than it tastes.

I sort of liked the ON double chocolate....It beats the hell out of the W**-M*** brand or GNC's flavors IMO. As long as it isn't vanilla I am usually ok....
