my knee is fine again, my left big toe is still "tight" but thigns are calming down injury wise lol.
Today i did some shoulder work before boxing training. Boxing training was skill sparring, i had to spar a young kid who was my height... The kid pissed me off due to him not playing ball. It was meant to be he punches, i block, then we swap... but he thought he would play "runaway" and i had to corner him against the gym wall so i could get in range to throw some punches. Did some ab training with the trainer dropping a medicine ball on my abs

shoulders are sore today, its the first time in ages since they've been like this.
Went for a jog, i mixed it up tonight and put some sprints in. Jog to a lamp post, run to the next one, rinse and repeat for half a kilometer. Jogged the rest of the 2km.

Dear Diary,
I am so sorry i didnt write in you last night, please forgive me Good session of Taekwondo, had some sparring rounds but nothing too bad. My toe is 90% healed and my knees are not causing me any discomfort. I've changed the way i'm running as i was trying to "soft foot" it round the track and i noticed that when i did this, the pain would increase than if i was to push down and extend my leg fully out nearly. In short, bad running techinique can screw your knees up regardless on how much you splash out on training shoes

i've had a bad weekend for training
Sunday i was hungover and plus i met a girl (or shall i say woman lol) the previous saturday night. Tonight i'm going to make up for it and go for a run after work, do some shoulder training and then head off to taekwondo. Its always good when your hard work is noticed, compliments a'plenty when i took my shirt off saturday

had a good small run after work, i met my friend who was on a pushbike so he made a good tempo setter for me.
I timed myself for an apporximate mile and its around 8 mins, i need to haul some ass to get it down, i want a 6 min time if possible. did some ab work and tonight i'm relaxing. I forgot to wash my taekwondo trousers so no lesson tonight

I split my eyebrow open on saturday by walking into a door lol, i was in a pub at the time and i staggered back to the mirror to find out i had blood trickling down my face!
Stemmed the blood but seeing that i was meeting a girl on the other side of the door Anyway, i was boxing tonight, i had to skill spar this guy who had fast hands. He clipped me a few times, one on the nose and twice on the eye in question. The punch on the nose made my eye water but i was mad about my left eye! I knew he hit the cut and when i checked in the mirror after a round i saw new blood. Damn it! I know this cut is going to plague me for the rest of my boxing career now as the skin is never as strong/flexible. Luckily this was the last boxing session until january 7th, give it some time to heal

HA HA HA!
i beat another black belt in my sparring league, my record stands at W 3 D 1 L 3 I'm 4th in the table This week its been mostly sparring sessions at taekwondo so my fitness has been tested a fair bit. Today it was mainly shuttle runs with a punch bag at the end of the hall so it was variants of punching/kicking/sprints Started looking at a bulking shake to help me put some mass back on, i cant get the calories in through my daily diet where things are so up in the air right now. Looking in the mirror i can see i'm getting shredded but i'm wanting to go the other way on the scale.

last night i had to do 3 on 1 sparring
had a really good class trying to defend myself and trying to fight back lol, believe me, it was nothing like movie fu.... its not one guy fights you while the other two circle around!!! cut down on my exercise this week, its soon to be xmas and i'm enjoying the time off.

Cool....I bet you can really whip someone's A$$ if you are training by sparring 3 people at once. One time I had to take on 5 guys at the same time. Their "Leader" accused me of having sex with his GF at a party the previous weekend which was not true (she was really into me and hot though). He knocked on my door and I didn't really even know who he was. He told me that I had been messing around with his woman and I told him that was not right and he started to walk away at which point he swung around and punched me in the side of the head. It didn't hurt at all and I ducked down and kicked him in the stomach. His "goons" then got out of their cars and started picking up rocks and throwing them at me (Pu$$ies) so I ran into the house (I was disgusted at this point with the blatant, unfair, lameA$$ assault I was receiving) and grabbed my roommate's Sai (I am pretty sure you know what that is) and ran outside saying "I will probably lose this fight, but some of you are going to the hospital with serious injuries....are you willing to accept that!". Then they ran away and I never heard from them again (100% true story...I swear). Sorry to hijack your thread and all, but it just goes to show that martial arts traning can really come in handy somtimes...

It teaches you awareness and effeciency of strikes... if you over step or lunge wild then you will leave yourself wide open to attack not just from one person, but 3 lol
i'm not good enough to be relaxed about fighting 2+ guys but my confidence is 10x better when it comes to fighting just one guy

Heavy christmas!!! This year i decided to drop all weight training, taekwondo and jogging over the xmas period.... i gained a good 7lbs of fat and my arms feel like moosh, not as firm any more. I enjoyed myself though! Whats the point of holidays if you cant enjoy yourself and kick back and relax... Today its the first day back on normal diet, i tried jogging yesterday but only managed like 1/4 of what i usually do I'm not looking forward to boxing next week, i feel like i'll be sweating turkey and christmas pie all over the place. Tonight i'm going to go for another jog, work my shoulders/triceps

I didnt go for a jog, i'm getting over a cold and it was like raining outside...
Did some jump rope in the lounge but as i was building up a great speed the rope hit the light bulb and it burst all over the floor i spent a good half hour clearing up all the glass and white powder. after the glass was cleared i did: 3 sets: handle pushups to failure 3 sets: handle dips to failure

my fitness is horrible!
its true, for every week you take off it takes two weeks to get back to where you were so.... 3 weeks off = 6 weeks until normal my chest is nice and sore from my pushups routine the other night, tonight is shoulders and arms will be my first night back at TKD since 23 December

Had an excellent sparring session last night!
I sparred a 3rd degree and held my own, he gave me a nod and a smile afterwards with the immortal words that make noobs smile "hmmm... pretty good" Sparred Salvatore afterwards, i call him Andre the Giant as he is just that lol. I took a hell of a beating in the beginning but near the end he was out of steam, i switched to a boxing style and hit him clean 4 times in the head before hitting the gut. He walked away and took off his sparring gear before the end of the round... I asked him if he was ok but he said that i didnt hurt him but said well done for beating him ![]() at the end of class my girlfriend who was also at class (a 2nd degree

Had another good session at TKD tonight, i won another fight in my sparring league 5-4
