Friday:
Sparring sessions were good fun, i learned the fine art of humility when i got my ass kicked by a 15 year old 3rd degree. He was kicking me left right and center! Trying to nail my spin side kicks still, managed to get one or two in. Had to spar a spanish guy who is about 6ft 2" and weighs at least 20 stone i'd say, he is a huge man mountain! I was pummeled but being not one to back off (which would of been a wise move!) i waded back in Saturday: Some punch bag work and ab exercises, had some short sparring sessions today. One of the black belts i beat in the sparring league i had to fight this time (normal sparring) and i had him nailed with a quick spin side kick No tournament sparring this week for me for some weird reason so i'm now lying in at 3rd postion on the table but with 2 fights in hand

sitting here at work thinking of a new workout plan... i only have a few free weights at home but i have a cunning idea.
Chest: clap pushups (3 x failure) handle pushups (3 x failure) Shoulders: front raise (3x12) side raise (3x12) Biceps: EZ Bar curls (3x10) DB curls (3x10) Triceps: Handle dips (3 x failure) tricep kickbacks (3x12) Abs: (i do alot in boxing training but this is for home) Medicine ball situps Situps (on the big rubber ball) Twist sit ups Side bends Back: Bent rows (3x 15) one arm rows (3x 15) nothing else i can think of... might buy a pull up bar for my doorframe Legs: these puppies are worked to death at Taekwondo and at boxing so i dont want them growing anymore... I just have to look at my legs and they grow Cardio: Mon: after work 2 mile jog Tue: after work 20 mins skipping Wed: 3-4 mile jog Thur: 20mins skipping Friday: off Saturday: off Sunday: 3-4 mile jog Weight Training: Mon: chest/tri's Tue: off Wed: back/biceps Thur: abs Fri: off Sat: shoulders Sun ff

I hate injuries...
I'm nursing a badly stubbed toe from saturday (bent it round so the nail touched my sole) and damaged a muscle on the hip area (not hip flexor, more to the front) I didnt go for a run today due to my toe and sparring was fun tonight when my right hip was flaring up Not one to accept defeat and sit on the couch, i did 10 minutes of skipping when i came in from work

no running or skipping today... cancelled boxing training too. My toe is not getting better so i'm giving it total rest.
I did a shoulder workout though, nice feeling as i havent worked my shoulders out in a while

dont call yourself a whimp rest is as important as work. people who work all body all the time make small to no gains. hope your toe goes better soon good luck woth your training and have a happy christmas.
