bank holiday weekend so plenty of time off work (long weekend)

saturday:
Legs

Squats
2 x 6 115kg <---- up this week
1 x 4 115kg

Leg press machine
3 x 6 115kg <---- up this week

Leg extension
3 x 8 80kg <----- up this week

S.L.D.L's
3 x 10 50kg <---- up this week (still not at max weight, perfecting form)

Glute Ham raise <---- new addition, thanks to Stuk
1 x 7 bodyweight
2 x 6 20kg assisted by lat pull down bar

Calf raises
3 x 10 110kg

Seated calf raises
3 x 10 90kg

Great workout, the reverse leg extensions were thrown my way by Stuk and its a weird ass movement! You use the leg bars on the lat pull down to hold your lower leg while you use your hamstrings to lower and pull you up.
First set i was going face to the floor and its weird as your hams pull you up pretty quick.

Second set i just went face first into the gym floor and realised that i'd have to wait a few weeks before i could do 3 sets unassisted lol.

I've quit Taekwondo....

Its getting too mickey mouse over there with the 'anyone can be a black belt if the monthly fees are paid'. Standards are poor and falling, the senior instructors are younger than i am and have bad attitudes.

I worked out i will save £1500 a year ($3000) and have more rest-recouperation. So far i'm enjoying the more free time i have and will look to take up Muay Thai or a local Juijitsu club that isnt so McDojo.

Incredible Bulk sounds good for a name

That's a shame - is it just your club or the federation in general?

Okay David Spanner, since you have now thrown a Monkey Wrench, into the works, sorry to hear this little tid bit! I do know what you mean though. My school is geared towards "Child Development" and not so much towards teaching the Art of Taekwon Do. Good luck in your search. Keep us informed!

Its all geared towards money, nothing else.

when you see alot of kid black belts then its a sign things are easy to obtain. Anyone can be a trainee instructor as long as you are a black belt.

Taking advice from STUK again, i moved deadlifts to the front of my routine.

back/ forearms

deadlift
1 x 6 60kg
1 x 6 100kg
1 x 6 140kg
1 x 5 140kg
1 x 6 115kg

triple wheeled for the first time, 315lbs baby, wooot

Chins
unable to do since i was f*cked after deads

bent row
3 x 6 65kg <--- 5kg down due to deads

Lat Pull downs
3 x 6 65kg <--- to replace chins (up this time also)

Low Pulley Rows
3 x 10 115kg
2 drop sets after third set

bb shrugs
3 x 6 85kg <---- up this week, forearms giving out near the end

Forearms

Plate pinches
20kg for 3 sets

Forearm Curls
3 x 12 10kg

When i was doing the deads i could feel muscle fibres in my traps ripping i swear. When i got home my lower back started spasming and i had to spend the whole night with a hot water bottle glued to it, its 50% today.

I might of jerked one of the last reps

scores on the doors:
All for 6 reps, not 1RM

Bench: 213
Squat: 258
deadlift: 315

total: 786lbs

Nice one!
I did 135kg x 6 x 3 on Wednesday & it's still killing me! (the fact that I had a week off last week doesn't help).
