Friday:
At taekwondo they have started a sparring league, there are different leagues ranging from black belts, adults, kid black belts and kids... I found out they have thrown me in the lions pit and with the black belts I've started to get a rep for being able to handle myself (after beating 3 black belts) so i'm in with them. Points: 3 jump kick to head 2 kick to the head 2 jump kick to stomach 1 kick/punch to stomach Rules: (results in a strike, 3 and your out) no punching to the head/face no kicks/punches below the belt Training was a bit of a beasting

Saturday:
sparring league begins!!! First fight: against Travis, he's a second degree black belt and is about 19 years old. Started off very good with a kick to the head (2 points for that). Result: I won 5-3! Second fight: against wayne, he's a 1st degree black belt trainee instructor. Started off ok, it was pretty even match all the way but i managed to get a kick to his head in just before he punched me in the gut. Result: I won 5-4!!!! Looked at the league and i'm top so far (dont forget its just the beginning), 10 points, aggregate is 10 for..7 against. Need to work on my defence, my stomach is where all the points are lost from.

Boxing training was ok, had a bit of circuit training and a lot of bag work.
While i was shadow boxing i had some light pain in my left elbow so i gathered i was over extending the arm/hyperextension. My legs are going to be sore tomorrow, had a fair bit of burpees and star jumps This should make my run a bit more challenging lol.Time for a shower

Today is now officially "Duracell Bunny Day"
Went running and i just kept running and running, smashed previous targets. Its a good feeling when your energy isn't depleating or your legs dont seem to tire. Next week i aim to remove one of my rest spots that i use half way through the jog, if i can run all the way there and back i think i'd be hitting 4 miles

New pics will be posted soon, need to get the clippers out though as i have a chest like 70's porn star lol. Anyone seen the bruce lee film where he fights chuck norris, grabs chuck's chest hair and rips it out??? It brings tears to my eyes everytime

I didnt bother reading the package or warning labels. I just rubbed it all on my chest and over my NIPPLES. OH MY GOD!!! It worked great taking the hair away, but man oh man did it burn the sh!t out of my nipples. Its been a week and my nips are still tender as hell. Anytime my shirt rubs against them I want to scream out in pain. It must have took the top layer off them??? OUCH! WORD TO THE HAIRY DUDES = DONT PUT NAIR ON YOUR NIPPLES!!!!!! |

Friday:
Had a good sparring session at Taekwondo tonight, it was free sparring rules so i could punch to the head Sparred on of my instructors and managed to get a few kicks and punches in My boxing is helping as i was copying mike tyson style of fighting, peek-a-boo, hiding behind the gloves, crouched style, launch into a barrage of body-head hooks followed by an overhand right Saturday: 5minutes of jump rope, still getting used to jump rope but its going ok.
