Shoulder workout tommorow will be at my new gym which should be interesting. I dont know why but every gym i've been to, the weights dont feel the same lol.

i.e. your used to curling 45kg and it seems lighter/heavier in the new gym

EDIT: Weighed myself, i'm now 13 stone 12 lbs (195lbs) = gain of 7lbs from april

First training session at the new gym... very busy today and i was moving from pillar to post to get free benches. Its a bank holiday today so every one was in the gym...

Had a rare sight today too, i saw something called a bodybuilder! Haven't seen a true bodybuilder in the gym for a while I'd say the guy was 210lbs, 45yrs old... nothing special but its good to see that bodybuilders frequent the gym

enjoying my day off from the gym...

Taekwondo:

had another round as part of the league.

I won 5-3, kicked the guy 6ft backwards onto his ass on the final point
Record stands at W5,D0,LO

i think i have 5 fights left, 2 of them are going to be vital if i'm to stay at the top of the league. Every time i spar the nerves are there now as it kicks in when you feel you can win something.

Good to hear your using them nerves to your advantage - this is where so many people fail!

cheers guys,

Its annoying as the league doesnt end until the end of July so they are going to drag out the remaining fights. I'm just worried that some of the high ranking black belts will see my dominance so far and try and sign up for an easy win.

After having a stomach ache since sunday (and training through it for a day) it felt monday night like i was being stabbed in the stomach.
I was woke up on tuesday morning with a pain in the stomach, after trying to sleep through it i gave up and took my ass into a hospital at 4am.

at 5am i was diagnosed with appendacitus (sp) and i had to have an operation that day to remove the appendix. (good thing too as next workout was back )

3pm i had 3 incisions to remove the appendix, 2 keyhole 'lets have a look' and one to remove it.

i was discharged from hospital yesterday at 12pm with a prescription full of drugs to keep me happy. After eating hospital food since tuesday i was not shocked to have lost 7lbs.

I cant train for a good week or two and not heavy for a while longer

Taekwondo is knocked on the head for about 3 weeks too.

Dude...that's terrible - sorry to hear about it.
I haven't had appendicitis but I've heard it's pretty damn painful!
Take care of yourself & you'll be up to scratch in no time!!!

The one bonus is you can watch the World Cup while your recuperating - if it was gunna happen, couldn't have picked a better time (just trying to look on the bright side ).
