i'm sticking to basics right now for delts, i've seen other gym members doing them but they dont tickle my fancy right now.

next week i'm adding 2 sets of dips for chest and replacing cable curls for hammer curls, the cable setup is really jerky and needs oiling or a new cable... you pull up the bar an you cant get a good smooth feeling from it

cheers!

good thing i'm not weight training tonight, i'm at work and i've just had to use a glue gun... some of the boiling glue dribbled onto my finger tips and the stuff is like napalm!

you cant get it off, you have to wait for it to cool down and peel it off. 3 fingers with bubbles of skin on them

All the best .... I did Taekwondo for about 9 months but had to flag it due to work commitments. I got to yellow belt green tip - different organisation to yours I think.
I managed to break a couple of metatarsals on my right foot because the noobs kept putting their elbows up (even tho we have body pads)
Once they healed I tore a ligament on the same foot (noobs again)

I was thinking about starting back up now that I'm doing the freelance work.
It's 7-9pm on Mondays & Wednesdays & when it's getting close to tournament time it's Thursdays & Saturdays as well. I'll keep thinking.........

Hope the grading goes well my man!

Yeah i've broke a metatarsal in my right foot (just recovered), fractured big left toe and a hamstring injury.
Sound like you were part of the WTF if you used a hogu (body armour), we dont use them lol so plenty of ribs to be fractured

Hope you reconsider and re-join

My grading went great, no problems with my form and 3 steps... for sparring i had to fight one disabled guy with one eye
I just let him do his thing and i kept forgetting he had tunnel vision so if i stepped off to the side he would carry on fighting thinking i was still in front of him

And after that i had to spar two women... the fun just kept piling on. No offence to women but even though the skill level was the same during our rounds, 190lbs vs 120lbs?
I kept sparring but had to keep pulling out of shots, the last thing i wanted to do was send one of the women clattering to the ground and end up failing my grading due to 'excessive' contact.

Having a good few days off the gym, restarting monday

but before that, i have a competition on July 1st in Southampton.
There is a HUGE rivalry between my home city of Portsmouth and Southampton, like Springfield and Shelbyville

This is going to be fun
