Gentlemen, Please read before you post here!
First off, thanks for stopping by our Ladies Training forum at BodybuildingForYou. There are a couple things that you need to know before posting here.
Please be respectful and do not post in these diaries unless you have a serious/respectful post or you are responding to a thread in a respectful intelligent way. I know you guys love pics of the ladies...but that is a decision for the ladies to make. I understand that we have a very upbeat and easygoing rapport here on BodybuildingForYou, but please keep in mind that the ladies are serious about their training and do not need to be 'hit on'. In fact, it could be considered rude and unwarranted behavior and could be grounds for a warning. You need to understand that if you step out of line once, you will be warned, and if you do it again you risk receiving an infraction or a temporary ban. The ladies here at BodybuildingForYou are devoted to the absolute development of the female physique. It is ok for you to be here and to post and to ask questions. So please feel free to learn and participate in this area of the board. If a mod gives you a warning please respect their decision. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thanks for stopping in to check the training diaries for the ladies of BodybuildingForYou. Hawkwind

Amy, no disprespect what so ever, especially to you, but isnt this a little biased in general?
Why no concern over the mens journals? Are we men not serious about OUR training? You said "please keep in mind that the ladies are serious about their training and do not need to be 'hit on'." Is this a rule that will only be enforced upon the men? Because plenty of men here have been hit on when posting pic's (yes, it happens). I understand the concern or sentiment behind the thread and maybe I'm calling apples as oranges, but I see this as being very biased and I believe in equality. Not that I spend alot of time in the womans section anyways, but this makes me want to stay away completely Man or woman, we both should be treated with the same respect and he upheld to the same standards Last edited by BiggerGuns=LongerDrives; 06-19-2007 at 11:28 AM.

Actually...all of the above is covered in the TOS that everyone has to sign when they join BB4U.
I agree, men and women should be treated with the same respect in their journals. And actually...way back when before the board crashed there was at one point a similar post in general in the diary section and if I remember correctly there was also one in the members pics section. I posted the thread as a general warning to newbies or those that just sign up and pass through. The regular members for the most part know better and there will always be friendly ribbing and flirting among members and for the most part we all know that. But my concern was that by taking the women's journals out of the general area and putting them in the Ladies section that it could open the ladies of BB4U to closer scrutiny by those that never 'noticed' them before or to subtle harassment. This is my way of making sure that no one considers the hard-training ladies of BB4U 'open territory'. Anyone, male of female that feels they have been unfairly harassed can always PM a mod or Jim with their concerns. Thanks for your concerns Tommy...it gives me a chance to clarify. We all know how I can go 'on an on'...I was trying to keep the intro of the new section 'short and sweet'!

Amy I hadnt yet had my lunch when I posted the response, I am sorry.
I dont mean to put you on the spot or create any controversy as you are one of my favorite Mod's. I just sometimes think things needs to be more down the line for both sides, but these guidelines are needed for one side or the other. I understand the reason for the stickie. So that means since I am a veteran member, I get a free pass to hit on the ladies  And Jenny, I get hit on all the time  One day it's Boyd, then it's Hrpiiii, but I am used to it now

No problem Tommy. I knew when I posted the sticky that there would be questions. And as I said I did try to keep it 'short and sweet' maybe a little too short perhaps!
As this is a very new format for this board in regards to the growing population of lifting ladies I wanted to be sure that I had my proverbial a$$ covered.
