Hey jenny! Just passing by to show you some support! I didn't have a clue that you were keeping a log on here but I guess better late than never right!? I'll be dropping in more often, I was actually out the door now to run some errands - it's my day off from work!

Yesterday:
AM Cardio - 3 miles on treadmill w/ a 4.5 incline. Combo of walking and jogging. I also played a bunch of sports yesterday at this bbq I was at during the daytime. Friends of mine rented out a park and I played a little volleyball, football, softball, and we even had a few running races....I beat all those little kids...hahaha. j/k. I ate a whole f'n bunch of food yesterday though. I took off work today. My son's leaving for Florida on the 13th for a few weeks, and I wanted to spend the day with him in the city. We're leaving shortly. I'll probably do a quick little somtin somtin before I go....I'll post it up later. |

So...back to training discussions (LMAO...actually, I haven't even been training, so I should say, back to my cardio discussion). Yesterday, I didn't do any exercise at all. I planned on getting on the treadmill or something before I went into the city, but plans changed, and I wound up taking my son and two of my nephews with me. So, I left a little sooner than I thought I was going to...and then spending the day in NYC with a 6 year old and two 7 year olds was not the easiest thing in the world...so I was pooooped by the time I got home. Today: AM Cardio - 5 minute warmup, 15 minutes of HIIT, 5 minute cool down - On the Treadmill Don't know if I'll be doing anything else for today, but if I do, I'll let ya know. I was planning on starting back with my weight training next week, but I'll make a final decision on Sunday. Here's a pic of the boys (Jackson, Owen, and Nathan) from yesterday in the city... |

I have an extremely busy day today....LMAO....not really. I just have to pack it all into a short period of time, but that's my own fault. I have a bridal shower to go to in 4 hours, but I haven't even gotten a gift yet....damn procrastination. So...I hopped on the treadmill early this morning: Cardio - 15 minutes HIIT I'm getting ready to go to the gym now because I wanted to just do some legs and maybe a little bit of ab work. (I'll have to post that up later on or tomorrow though). Then, I'm going to run over to Linens and Things (yup all sweaty and gross, straight from the gym) because she's registered at Linens & Things and Fortunoff, but Linens and Things is right next door to my gym. Then I have to come home, shower and get ready, go to the bridal shower, and then go and get my son from his dad right after because he has a party to go to tonight too. Grrrr! I hate days like this. What happened to relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather on the weekend? |

I think the fact that I'm a hyperactive nutcase helps me stay lean with all these silly parties. Most people would probably skip the gym and just go and get done what they need to get done...but I can't do that. I can't seem to sit still...even when I want to. |

My diet was pretty good this weekend, even though I had a few parties to go to. And I had no alcohol at any of the parties either, so that was good too. BUT....last night I did have a Birthday Cake Shake from Ralph's. I only got it because my nephew told me that it was the BEST thing ever, so I promised him that I'd get one. It was actually pretty yummy. I had some sh!t to do this morning, so I didn't get to do my cardio. I'll do some this afternoon during my break, then maybe a little more tonight. I've decided to hold off on the weight training routine for a few more days. |

Ho Hum....another day, another post about nothing....LOL.
Went to the gym this afternoon: Cardio - HIIT on elliptical machine, 20 minutes (I was gonna do the treadmill, but I think from my leg workout Saturday, and my fun filled day of athletics yesterday made my legs a little sore today, so I didn't feel like running) After Work More Cardio - La Chica Fitness DVD, 45 minutes, now if only I could get my hips to be like one of the chicks in that video, I'd be straight. (I mean straight, like good...not straight, like no shape...hahaha). I'm getting a little nervous right now. My son's dad's girlfriend (yeah, sounds weird, but we get along pretty well) took my son to Splish Splash today (it's this water park out here...all the way out on the Island), but I've called her several times and she hasn't answered, and then I talked to my son's dad, and he said that he's called her like 15 times, and she hasn't answered. Very very odd, since it's almost 7pm. I don't really know what I'm supposed to do right now...and my son's dad is working in Rhode Island, so there's not much that he can do about the situation either. But this is REALLY bothering me, and I'm getting pretty upset about the whole thing. Don't you think that out of consideration, she should have called or something? |
