Yeah, I know I hate injuries and they set you back. I was feeling the pain in the pullups, especially since we went wide. ughhhh, I tried to stay focused and work thru the pain, but gave up @ one point. I actually have a big knot in the area. It should be much better for chest on Thursday.

Aight so the pain in my pec was gone yesterday.. Thank goodness, but anyhow I did legs last night.

This week we didn’t hit tri sets for legs, so I was able to achieve that 300 leg press.

Hack squat:
140x8x3

V Squat:
140x10x3 (my knee was snapping, so I had to wear knee wraps, better order a pair)

Leg press (plate loaded), superset on smith with front squats – 50x10x3
230x10x2
270x10x1
300x4x1

Supersets smith lunges/sumos:
Lunges: 50x10x3
Sumos: 90x12x3

Seated curls:
70x10x3

Another Ham exercise: Johns move, Don’t ask, lol. He calls it the Elliott move, which he learned from a competition expert:

Lever bent over row equipment, 45 pound plate. It was sorta of like a deadlift motion, but in a slight angle, toes up, heels pressed on lift and squeezing them hams. NO shoes either, he made me do it. My hams and glutes were trembling.

3 sets of 12 (he always has some move and what the hell to call it, lol).

Life fitness glute machine:
110x3x12

I got to the gym a little early so I banged out 4 sets of slow leg raises (25) off a flat bench.

It was a long leg workout, well not long, we banged it out in about 50 minutes but we did alot. Its all good, I had a small iced coffee before I got to the gym, so I was loaded with energy.

Have a great day

Yep, I knew I would get it too. I was stuck @ 270 and didn't push out more, but went for it.

we have alot of glute stuff. There is this other one that is like a lunge and has a roll in the front. Sometimes I stick my feet under the roll and sissy it.
My gym has a sister location about 20 minutes away and its 3xs the size and the leg equipment is 3xs also.

Way to GO! You are really a beast. I wish I would have been there to see it. Another business meeting, therefore I trained this morning. I would have spotted you on that lift too.

Thanks. Its wasn't on my to do list, but the 40s werent' all that bad and I wanted to see what it felt like, lol. Lou was there and he kinda helped me on alot of my lifts, but mostly on this one. Actually he encouraged me to go for the 45s. His training partner is MIA too, so he is solo. We are doing shoulders tonight and its just good to know that there is someone around to help out.

This one chick, I will point her out to you, says to me when I was done, "That hurt just watching". It was pretty hard, but I couldn't back down.

Thanks TB: nah, I won't ever get up to any of you guys on here, that is just crazy weights ya'll do!

Friday 6/22:
Shoulders:
Barbell press:
warmup barbell only no weight
20x10x2
30x10x2

DB arnolds:
25x10x2
30x8x2

Military presses: threw these in since Tommy put that post on them, superset with lying rear lats 15x10x3:

40x10x3

Tris:
Cable push downs curly bar, lol, superset with cable pushdowns 25x12x4
35x12x4

Skulls:
40x10x3

Bench dips with 25 pd plate on lap
3x10

4 sets of lying leg raises (30) and 18 minutes on the tread, 3.5 speed @ 35 incline! Out of all my training days this week, I was kinda tired on my workout yesterday. Kaila had a graduation ceremony @ her daycare and I got to the gym too early. It was empty and I had to wait around for my wo partner and the babysitter, so I lounged on the couch in the front and almost fell asleep! lol, sleep is catching up with me.

Today I am gonna go run the hill a few times. I have been up trying to convince my sisters fiance to teach me how to drive stick, Lol, he aint going for it!

The weather is beautiful. Kaila is spending the weekend with daddy and I miss her so when she is not around. She calls for awesome companionship. Hope you all enjoy the weekend! Off to shop for vacation stuff and cut my hair. Leaving in a few days for the sunshine state. Can't wait to see mom

Peace out!
