Had to switch up the routine a little this week.
hubby won't be around to help spot me for bench so I had to do it today. flys on machine setting 5 x 8 x 3 Flat Bench warm up with bar 70 x 8 70 x 7 70 x 4 Incline DB press 22.5 x 8 x 3 Shoulder Press 22.5 x 8 x 3 Skull Crushers 30 x 8 x 3 |

45 minutes on treadmill 3/25 45 minutes on treadmill 3/26 30 minutes on treadmill 3/27 40 minutes on treadmill I have been working on my running. I hate it. So basically what I was doing was warming up for 5 minutes then i would go 2 minutes @ 5.5 then 1 minute @ 3.5 for 30-35 minutes then walk the last 5-10 minutes. It was going good until Sunday when I decided to run for 5 minutes then walk for 1 minute. On monday my chins were killing me so bad during my workout that I had to just walk. Then again tonight I only ran for a total of about 6 minutes then walked the rest of the time. I really need to invest in a new pair of running shoes!! |

My chins get shot from running.. grrrrr, then again, I hate it! Good sneaks make all the difference.
I much rather do any other form of cardio than jump on that treadmill... I love to spin, but the classes @ my gym are now too late for my schedule, so I just hit other machines. My sis called me & is trying to convince me to take a inline skate course with her in Central Park, NY (don't laugh, you need a course to skate in that park) I broke my tush in central park once and haven't skated in a while, so I might take her up on the offer. Where I live there is alot of open road to skate... :-)

I'm with you KT. I hate it, but absolutely love the way I feel when i'm done. i actually feel like I worked out. I don't always get that when I do the elliptical or bike.
An in-line skate class would be fun! We don't have anything cool like that around here. |

Lacey, check your local rink. I found one close to work that has lesson and this way I don't have to take a ride into the city. They even had some @ the local hockey rink. Imagine that, I will be getting my moves back with some disco tunes, lol.
