I doubt that will happen anytime soon. The barbell deadlifts are okay, but the squats and bench I'd need a spotter on and I don't go to the gym with anyone so the Smith is safe.



I've decided that I don't think I can make it to the gym six days a week. I'm going to combine my upper and lower body routine into one day. It will be a longer workout, twice as long, but I;ll only be going three times a week. I'll see if that's easier to stick to. I have to figure something out. I feel like a lazy bum not getting my workout in.

I'm still working on trying to figure out what days/times I can get to the gym. It may just come down to me having to get up earlier and get to the gym first thing in the morning. I don't know what to do.

The goal is to figure it out by next week so I can get my lazy butt back to the gym.

Any suggestions on how to plan a workout around classes?

MWF I have class from 9-10 and from 3-4
T/T I have class from 9:40-11 and 1:10-2:30

Fridays I volunteer at the local elementary from 10-11 am.

If I didn't have so much homework, it would be a lot easier to fit in gym time.

what i do is i'd go on one of my 2 hour breaks between class. If i have something major due that day i would get in the workout either after class or combine them with another. hard to explain

today for instance i had a class at 9:30. my next class was at 2 so i worked out after my first class, 9:30-10:45. i usually take 1.5 hours to work out so , i have 1.5 hours to eat and do any homework that's due.

if its on a day i have a test on i skip the workout unless i can get it in the afternoon, which is tough for me since i have even more stuff to finish up.
I have a test tomorrow so i will try to get to the gym after classes: 3:30. I would workout before this class but this is a Calc III test

for you, working out on your break mwf seems like a good time slot. I would make those your main training times with any other schedule opening as optional on days you can't get to the gym

Today was a GREAT workout. This is the first time using my lifting belt and it offered a lot of support during squats and deads. Not to mention the fact I was deadlifting as much as a male athlete, that always makes one feel good.

I seem to have gotten a LOT stronger over the two weeks I didn't lift. I get to increase weights next week.

I will be back to the gym on Saturday. I think the stress of finals week coming up is stressing me out. I need to get some studying and stuff done before I get back to the gym. As much as I love lifting, grades must come first. Semester break is coming and then there will be NOTHING standing between me and the gym, except maybe the weather.
