Default cw's aka Monica's training log..............

Ok, Ok I'll start a diary, but keep in mind most of my workout is done at home - my husband is currenly in California, so attempting a gym workout, as much as I'd like to, is far from happening - remember I have a 21 month CRAZY little boy. I also start Chili's this Wednesday, YIPPEE - so I'm unsure of when my next gym visit will even be.

I know I'll lose a few punds reintering a job again that is extremly busy, as well I don't eat that much when my husband is away.

I do watch what I eat - everything, everyday, all day - along with completing a daily workout - reps I do, weights I do, so I'll keep track starting today to show my routine & I'll take feedback from all of you.

Only good things will come - we shall see............................

Cool. I still train from home quite often. And have not forgotten how crazy raising kids can be...got a 'reminder' of that for 11 weeks earlier this year when I was with my daughter-of-my-heart and the grandies.

Some training is always better than no training.

Monday 9/4

Today was yard work day, it is really hard for me, our mower is NOT a self propelled one, so it kicks my ass. Our yard is semi flat, but the grass really thick with crab grass among other things, so anyway, I mowed the lawn, pruned & planted flowers in my flower garden.

My workout:
100 sit ups
50 sit ups w/ a 10lb weight
75 sqats w/ a 10lb weight
butt flexes - unsure what the name really is - but I did 75
100 flip my legs over my head while raising & lowering my legs working out my lower stomach muscles
30 min yoga - strectching

breakfast: coffee & blueberries with granola
lunch: yogart
dinner - 6oz redfish grilled with artichokes & sun dried toms with 4 oz rice

tomorrow's a new day................

good good, more female journals! looks like you all just needed a soft tap on the butt to get things moving lol.

dont go over your head, your relaxing the muscles past 90 degrees so when lying flat, stop your legs so your toes point at 80 degrees, it keeps the stress on the abs and there are no rest points
when you go back to the ground, hover your heel 1" off the ground for a 1 second count before slowly raising back up. swinging your legs negates the whole movement.

its harder but its worth it

Great decision to start a journal
I know Im glad I did it.

It takes alot of focus to workout at home. There are so many distractions, especially with kids. I commend you for that.
