Thinking I might try this push-pull stuff, but I have to figure out how to do the split. Do you do all push on one day, then pull on the next? I didn't do that...I did push I guess....squats and lunges. Feedback on push/pull workouts will be much appreciated. Warm-up 10 min jump rope 5 min walking lunges - no weight squats - having weird pains during tonights workout that i have not had before...one area in particular is my hip flexor, left side. Felt like on my squats it was pinching...I checked and nothing was pinching...I'm not that chubby...lol. It was weird...so I changed my stance up and it somewhat alleviated it. 1x20-115 ass to grass 1x12-135 ass to grass...felt that pinch here 1x8 - 185 widened stance-as far ass to grass as you can go with the stance 1x6 - 185 - same deal with stance and near ass to grass...something is wrong with me. I'm feeling pinched and worn out. I got into a big argument with spouse and prior to working out was all upset and crying....I think it wore me out. I hate when men get on the rag. Alternating Lunges - BB 135 lbs 2x10, 1x8 those lunges were whooping me...it was like cardio, heart rate was up there.

This is my first try at push/pull...tonight I did push. I am not sure if I'm doing enough exercises. I have not started doing chest full on because it still feels strange. Tonight after chest, I was doing db press with arms closer for tri's and my chest was twitching...like having muscle spasms...it was quite weird. Any advice on ways to enhance work-out that would be great. I am going heavy for me. I've lost some strength in my upper body it seems. Hopefully I can get that back. warm up - 7 min elliptical, 8 min jump rope Incline DB press - 2x8 - 20 lb db / 1x8 - 25 lb db Incline DB - hands facing eachother for tris...I'm there is a name for it. 3x8-20lb db Skull crushers - 2x8-20 lb, 1x8 -25lb I would like to do press downs, but I know longer have means to do those. I need to set up the rest of my bench in the garage, then I can attach the lat tower and do press-downs with that, however my cheap bench must be attached to the squat rack and then I have to move the rack out from the wall, leaving no room to park in the garage. So these will work for now I suppose. Idea's on what else I can do for tri's with dumbbells? bb shoulder press 1x8-45 lb, 1x6-65 lb, back to 1x8 45 lbs. I feel so weak.

Tuesday, October 24th
25 min elliptical - HIIT plus abs Wednesday, October 25th Warm-up-elliptical 12 min Legs squats 1 x 12 - 135 atg, 1 x 10 - 155 atg 1 x 08 - 185 atg 1 x 06 - 205-at least 4 out of 8 were atg yesterday I did abs and prior to that I have not worked them directly in a long time. Today at work the muscle soreness there crept up on me....squats are the best exercise ever...with my abdominal area being so sore, it just re-emphasized to me that squats are a core workout...ouchie! I'm so tough. Grrrr. lunges 3x10 - 135 eating-wise...I have once again started eating well this week, starting on Monday. It is this horrible cycle...eat good M-F, eat really not so good on Sat and then try to eat better on Sunday, then get strict again on Monday. |

finally getting back on track
cardio and abs tonight, 42 min cardio then abs. I like to workout in my undies and a sports bra...I have a mirror and it is motivating cause when you are working out with hardly any clothing you can totally see the parts that need work...anyway, it motivates me and keeps me from getting my shirt all sweaty while working out. I'm usually done by the time my honey gets home, but he got home early tonight and he came to say hi and then said I was sexy??? Why do guys find us sexier when we are sweating and in underwear...hair up, no makeup, and sweaty? I guess I should run around like this or like I just woke up all the time, eh? So I flashed him some boobage and finished the workout. mua hahaha. that makes me laugh. haha |

another thing, I am such a nut...I was telling hub how i have to really get serious so I can look awesome for our trip to Vegas in November...but it is already November...I have two weeks. I'm such a procrastinator.

So I've been slacking pretty good for three or so weeks...I had the trip to Vegas and then Thanksgiving, also just being lazy. I'm trying to get back on track now.
My best friend from high school found me on myspace and holy smokes...she is so hot, I mean smoking hot. I can beat that...lol. |
