man, i didn't want to post this but i remembered doing bent over rows last week at the same weight hanna was doing. thats one strong girl, she even said she was going light i beleive, not sure but i'm depressed now.
but i'm still glad to see hanna lifting again

Tuesday, September 12th
No weights or specific cardio. I took down the old squat rack from storage and set it up in the garage. After I got it all together (carrying pieces and weights up and down the stairs many, many, many times) I was pooped and had to watch House. Wednesday, September 13th Quads, Hams, Glutes, Calves Squats This is difficult and I am unable to go up in weight like I want because I am limited now in my plates. I have 2-45s, 2-25s, 2-10s. So my jumps in weight are big..I'll get more plates soon. 1x12 - 95 lbs (warm up) 1x10 - 115 lbs (still sort of warming up) 1x08 - big jump - 185 lbs-it felt sooo darn good too cause I have not squatted like this in a long, long while. 2x6 - 205 lbs - this is the most weight I have. First set was shaky...sort of scared, then the second was really good. Lunges I have a love/hate relationship with lunges...they fatigue the heck out of me and make my glutes on fire...it sucks, but it doesn't. Works the heck out of the glutes and hams. 1x10-95bs 1x10-115lbs 1x08-115lbs 1x06-135lbs Calf Raises I don't really have enough weight, but I gotta make do. 3x12-205 lbs SLDL I wimped out and did 2 reps. LOL, I'll do better next time. Today is my Friday....Yah! |

My glutes are very sore, but I had to man up (or woman up?) and went on a run with the hubby...he was helpful today and pushed me in a good way. Usually he is tough and tries to use reverse psychology on me...I think it is his military background....he thinks it helps to call me weak and stuff...but I need positive encouragement. That negative stuff just makes me give up and tell him to F off. I'm not a runner, but I'm trying to be. Today he was very encouraging and instead of telling him to F off and walking when I was tired, I was able to push through and jog the entire 3 miles. Not saying I ran the entire thing or even jogged fast, but I never walked. I thought it would work the soreness from my legs, but it didn't. I was whining cause my buns were burning! Jogging in hilly terrain is tough. |

been a few days and I did not lift weights over the weekend, did more recreational stuff.
Went for a 3 mile run on Satruday morning, played tennis Saturday afternoon. Sunday - tennis. I am a freakin tennis Goddess. I mean, I don't wanna toot my own horn and I am not good at many things, but my quads were made for sprinting and I can get to anything on the court. I love tennis, I wish my hubby would like to play more often. |

Weights Upper Body chest - went up a little bit...still worried about things in this area getting distorted, so far so good db incline press 12-15bs 10-20lbs 08-25lbs 06-25lbs - I tried 40 lb dbs, but I couldn't actually get it from the floor to my chest...haha. those suckers are heavy. 12-15lbs db flyes 12-15lbs back bent over bb row 12-65lbs 10-95lbs 08-115lbs 06-115lbs 12-65lbs dead-lift 6-155lbs shoulders bb press / db press- so weak, I switched midway to db's because too many other muscles were helping with the BB press. I like the isolation with the db's. 12-45lbs 10-45lbs 08-45lbs, switched to DB's 06-25lbs 12-20lbs lateral raise 12-15lbs Biceps alt db curls 12-15lb 10-20lb 08-20lb 06-25lb 12-15 hammer curls 12-10lb dbs - Triceps dips 12, 10, 08, 06, 12 tricep extension 12-15lb dbs |
