Honestly I do not think you doing anything wrong...and I can see a ton of progress here! You are clearly much more defined on the right picture
THe one reason progress might be slow is that you do not have much muscle to burn those extra calories.
I mean there are different things to do to help this process but I think is better to keep it simple
DO you do any weight or resistance training?

Another thing to try is to do cardio in the morning for 1/2 hour(your choice of cardio) and a 20 min walk before bed. Then drop the long run to maybe once a week if you want
Do 3 days of the 1/2 hours 20min combo, and 1 day of the long run

What do you typicaly eat each day?

Quit running and lift heavy weights 4 times a week instead. Youll be amazed. Running, especially distance running, is good for your heart. thats about it.

Want to lose more fat, then add more muscle.
The more more you gain, the more fat will melt off
It's simple, subtraction by addition

But all this goes hand in hand with a good diet of course.
If the diet sucks, well then you have a long journey ahead.
Diet is PARAMOUNT!

lol...umm m sorry abt da pics....i guess i jus didn edit dem properly......

well....yea i do do weight training 3 times a week, targeting all major muscles. Although I aint lifting very heavy weights though, but i still go through failure sets towards the end. I am on a low carb diet for abt 2 months now, and been taking 'on whey' twice a day.

Actually, wanted to lower my bodyfat b4 i went for lifting heavy weights nd building muscles. I have been overweight all my life. Even rite now, m 85 kgs. Was targetting weightloss, and its so damn hard. Becoming even harder now, than it was before. My bodyfat is still around 22%. My plan was to go through mild starvation diet alongwith a lot of cardio in the form of distance running, for 2 months, which ends in one more month. Maybe m used to it somehow, its jus hard now i feel to lose, even with starvation diet and cardio. I'll try the 'Do 3 days of the 1/2 hours 20min combo, and 1 day of the long run' vasille suggested. But maybe smwhere in my mind, there is a block, that any weight i gain b4 i reach my goal of being 80 kgs, will waste away my efforts, and thts wht concentrating on muscle building just yet wud do, wudnt it....

Ok, lets make some more adjusments here, and I want you to increase caloric intake to 2000 by adding another meal

add- few egg whites with 1/2 cup oatmeal in the morning after you do the cardio
snack - on whey wid glass of milk, banana
For the afternoon add some protein chicken or tuna with carbs
Evning meal small patatoe and chicken
For night eat a salad with chicken(forget about whey and milk and fruit....too much sugar!!!!). Eat the fruit as snack

See how this go for a while

Dont worry, with that diet you wont be adding any muscle no matter how heavy you lift. Still, resistance training is a much more effective tool for fatburning than cardio hands down.

Well, now things get a little more interesting.....
Ok, use tofu instead of chicken, at night use sugar free protein shake.

Can you eat fish or that's out too? I'm not really in the know with the vegetarian rules and stuff

Well then ****, stuff your face with nuts, cheeses, and use whey.

Youve made a good amount of progress for 3 months. But youre starting to become skinny fat. I would say stop running, stop cutting and clean bulk up. Youll continue to lose fat if you eat a clean diet(which in your case will be hard) but yeah...

And Theman818, shut up and squat b****.
