I don't really hold much faith with the BMI.

My brother is 6"2 and weighs 105kg. He's a naturally big guy and barrel chested. His Dr. reckons he should be 75kg to be in line with his BMI.

Now, I'm in no way medically trained/educated but just by looking at him you know that 75kg would result in him looking like a matchstick.

I agree with Chriscarr. BMI is overally idealistic. It doesn't take into consideration muscle mass at all.

I wasn't pointing towards that with my question. I was actually trying to compare goals with you. I'm around 193 at 6'0 and I'm having a hard time deciding where to push myself down to. I think I'm going to go to 180 and just use the mirror to decide.

Anyways, back to you. Keep us updated on your progress, bud!

Thanks

ya, my original goal was 230, but when i hit it i still wasn't liking what i saw in the mirror... now at 212 i do, so im starting to ween myself away from the cut and focus more on increasing the muscle mass and power.

been a ruff last couple of weeks...

Doc found a spot on my moms lung during a routine x-ray last week.

Shes a 20 year smoker...

had to sit on our hands for a week and a half waiting for the doc to get the referral through so she could have the proper tests done.

Ill just say that it didn't make for the most productive week for my diet or the WO's.

anyway... test got done, "doesn't look like anything to worry about"

Will try to get back to normal a bit this week.

I'm glad everything turned out well. Now get on her about staying healthy!

Best of luck getting back into the gym! Kick ass, bro.

Sorry to hear about that man, it's a scary thing. Glad it's all okay. Maybe get her tested everyone so often to make sure.

Myself I had a terrible WO week, but that was cause I was vegging at home and took a week off.

Ya, The cigs are fenito... She got the "help you quit" meds from her doc and she hasn't had a cig in over two weeks.

The whole family kind of put our foot down on this on... Smoking is just not even an option anymore.

Also, she is going in for more specific tests next month, to determine weather the nodules on her lungs should be removed or not.

Default Awesome!!!!!!!

Hey My Man! Congrats on your life's transformation. Keep up the good work. Make it a habit and soon, it will not seem out of your daily routine. Pics look great. You look so happy now as opposed to then and of course you are physically way more healthy.

This is the kind of stuff that inspires ME to be better and work harder at my goals.

Good luck in all you do! I wish you happiness, health and prosperity!
