I think you have good delts and traps, but asking how you look depends on your personal goals.

I myself have been carrying a build very similiar to yours for a while now, but I finally decided to cut down on the body fat.

If you asked me this a year ago, I'd say you were fine, thick and big, but with my perspective now on fat loss, I'd say it's time to cut down on some bodyfat. It was my stomach that I decided was too big for myself and needed some work and in this pic my belly is hanging over my shorts just like yours is

Then again, you should post better pics and more than one for better judging

Nice right bicep. Which is all that can be assessed by this pic.

At 5'5" and 190 - you're thick, but you need to decide if its the look you want or if you want to reduce BF%.

At 5'5" 190 there is no doubt you are thick, but to really give you feedback on overall body we need more pics. I know you are trying to get lean so if I were you I would take a bunch of full body pics to refer back to once you start losing fat.

Thats what I did even though some of them are not fun to look at, but when I am cut I will fully appreciate the work I put in! Regardless keep at it bro.

Definetly, thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm going to see if I can get my hands on a camera so I can get the whole body profile going on.

Bigger guns..I agree. We have that compact, thick kind of bodytype. I'm sick of my belly too. It protrudes out about just as much as my pecs...it sucks being thick. I'm not as wide as I'd like to be, rather like I said compact..But we can't change genetics : /

Ambient...I've been lifting since I was about 17.5 years old. I stopped for a good year and a half and just got back into it in August..I gained about 40lbs. since then...when I first started though I was barely 130lbs.

Edit: I'm 20 years old now...21 in September.

I am sure with your shirt on and not being bent over like that, the belly cant hardly be noticed by others though. But I understand what you mean as my belly was sticking out about the same as my chest too and that makes you not look as big as you are. A nice v-taper really makes someone look big and the wider your waist, the smaller your v-taper is.
Basically I want to wear a wife beater and not be concerned that my gut is on full display, much rather my chest and shoulders and narrow waist (sounds much better! LOL)

You should look into carb cycling as you dont have much fat to lose and I have done well with carb cycling. I have been doing carb cycling again for the last 10 days and I have lost 5.5 lbs, down from 219 to 214.5.
But I must say, I have added in some cardio on an eliptical machine 4 days per week on lifting days for 15 mins before and 15 mins after my lifting.

Oh, and If you are thick and not wide, then I'd say to start working more with width exercises on back days. For my back days I have gone to a thickness day and a width day (as I do back twice per week).
This will keep my back development balance, but I am already equally wide as thick.

Good luck man

I say start cutting now as you wouldnt have a great deal of fat to cut and muscle loss will be minimal, remember the smaller the waist the wider you will look overall, its all an illusion.
