Im still sticking with my original suggestion of a good nights sleep...
But that being said, its obvious that you have put on some good size, especially in you're traps and shoulders. TBQH with you, i think the best test of you're progress would be to just look around at the other 43 year olds that you know... i bet they all hate you!

I'm 41..and I think you have done a hell of a job. Your waist looks leaner, the abs are more prominant, the definition is sharper, the shoulders have some size on them. Keep on truckin' man, you are doing fine.
