What are your goals? To just get massive?
You look pretty thick to me. What does your routine look like? What are you doing for your underdeveloped chest? People may be able to help you out if you gave us a glimpse of what you're doing, and what you'd like to accomplish. And finally, this may sound like a weird question, but did you shave your chest from one pic to the other? You look like you're wearing the same belt and jeans, but one pic you have hair, and the next one, you don't. |

Thanks for the feedback jennyd. I'm not really trying to get massive but I would like to add some mass. My main goal right now is to lose fat and get down to around 15%bf without losing to much muscle.
Yeah, I shaved my stomach and then after taking a few progress pics I thought I should go ahead and get rid of the chest hair as well. I ended up turning progress pic taking into a major ordeal. As for chest, I've been on optimized volume training for the last two weeks and before that I was following the strength/growth workout in the Cut Diet. I generally use incline and flat db presses and flyes and occasionally wide grip presses. |

ya bro you're thick as a t-bone steak.
Cut cut cut I say! Don't worry about losing muscle as long as you diet correctly. Keep the protein high, dont starve yourself, do consistent cardio. Don't get caught up on the "muscle loss" sh!t too much. It's bigorexia fkin with your head... and you wont end up no where except unecessarily bigger with the same or higher BF%. |

I have to agree and say that you have nice thickness. Though your chest could be bigger. Arms, shoulders, delts, and traps look fine. Seems that your chest is the lagging group.
Stick to lifting heavy! Heavy Bench, incline or flat, your choice. Drop the flies! Do some Dips to hit the lower chest and transition to your Tricept workout. If you can do 3 sets of 10 w/ your body weight, then add some weight to your dips. Again, go heavy. Good frame to start with and if you do a sensible cut and still lift heavy you shouldn't have too much problem adding to what you have.

The others pretty much covered everything, if you lean out some you will probably have a better idea of what areas are lagging.
As for your chest, I had sort of the same problem. My triceps tended to take over on everything, which I bet is the same case for you. Really focusing on using my chest when doing presses, especially dumbells, has helped me considerably.

Thanks for all the feedback and encouragement. I'm cutting right now but I'm still phobic about losing muscle so I don't cut calories or do as much cardio as I probably need to.
I'm going to ditch the flies and just focus on presses. I will try wide grip bench presses and dumbell presses for the most part. |
