Thank you TAE GUY - appreciated it. I am 40, and considering a contest. I have just begun to come of a bulking cycle. I have dropped from 18% body fat to about 10 or 11 %; weight has dropped from 215 to 205. I supplement with Creatine, glutamine and CLA and other natural supplements. Weak point is still ab's - although I am now beginning to see the every so elusive six pack. |

you can start to see your abs, the top ones will show their face first
the lower you go bf % wise, the more the ab definition will show... the area round your belt region is the hardest to shift good luck! start a training diary here so we can plot yuor progress and if you start competing, it will give the teen noobs something to read and learn from

Thanks again T' Guy: hey, how long have you praticed martial arts? Until a devestating injury in my mid 30's, I practiced Kempo Karati. Anyhow, what belt are you up to? My injury caused a perferation in my intestine and thus, an operation to reconnect; another reason I have a tough time with ab's, as my stomach was cut open (similar to a woman having a "C" section). Nonetheless, I enjoyed doing it and will someday participate again.

I do not post photos of myself. I just do not.
I will say that for those that might want to know what I look like (Members here that are computer wiz types) can post the photos of this Man: NICK AUGER. You can see his photos at www.google.com (type in "Nick Auger"). His build is very close to mine except those that know me personally say they think I have "more definition". I kinda let others do the "judging". I "see" myself all the time so I would not be a "judge". I stand 6'2", weigh 192 lbs. and have a 30" waist. Nick Auger has a 29 1/2" waist and he is the same height as I am. I believe his weight is the same. We both are built about the same. Not much difference. Nick Auger also appears in the March 2006 issue (and one of the 2004 issues, September I believe) of FITNESSRX FOR MEN. See that magazine. It is a damn good one! |
