I'm not doubting myself at all. I don't see a reason why I can't progress like crazy a year from now especially considering the fact im gonna be supplementing pretty good. plus, if i ever do decide to take SD which i doubt I ever will...it wont be for another 6-8 years. |

Steroids can get that done in 2-3 months 10 lbs of solid muscle in a year is a great transformation in itself As for natural BB's, for every 5 pounds of muscle you gain, expect to add anywhere between 2-5 pounds of fat. The amount of fat you gain will depend, in part at least, on how much you eat and what you eat. But it also depends on how lean you are when you start to overfeed (bulk) So with this being said you are very lean so lets take the low # (2)... So for every 5 lbs we have to add 2 lbs of fat. So this would mean to gain 25 lbs of muscle you'd also gain 10 lbs of fat minimum....THATS 35 lbs!!!! But lets say you gain 3 lbs of fat per every 5 lbs of muscle, now then you'd gain 15 lbs of fat...Which would put YOU AT 40 LBS OF WEIGHT ADDED IN ONE YEAR. It aint happening. |

No offense danny boy but you are far from the authority on protien shakes! I talked to a buddy of mine and he said protien powder can go up to 6months after the expiration date. He is a rep for GNC I think he would know? Also please refrain from giving your uneducated opinion on things you clearly donot know enough about! Thankyou

When I first got serious about lifting I was 165 lbs (I'm 6 ft tall) and within one year I shot up to 228 lbs. That's 63 fuhken lbs!!! So if I did it so can you. My explanation above covered people who have been lifting already for an extended time. Like take a guy who's been lifting for 2 years and tell me he gain 65 lbs in one year - it's just doesnt happen. But for you it can... You must eat big and lift big, thats all it takes |

veteran lifters, will never get natural gains like that (or anyone who has been lifting for more then a couple of yrs) An 18yr old who hasn't being doing serious weights WILL get that. I did it myself at 18 except i did 30lbs in 1.4 yrs. That was with no protein powder and no supplements whatsoever. Hell even my diet wasnt all that great. Guess what, i didnt gain 1% of fat. Edit bigggerguns Thought you had been misunderstood. Hes only new. Last edited by hmmm; 03-09-2006 at 04:04 PM. |

Whey comes from lactose (which is in milk). If Milk can spoil and go bad, I am sure Whey has a shelf life too. I dont know if I'd believe that 6 month theory. A 2 lb tub of "On 100% whey" costs about $15. Just toss that old sh!t of yours and buy another. Why waste your time on something that's probably not going to give you satisfactory results like when brand new and fresh??? |

I wasn't serious about 220, but he could put on 25 easy enough his first year and maybe 10-18 the next.
Some might be fat, but I went from 167 to 193 in the first year. I had my bodyfat measured at both weights and it was 14%. So I put on a total of 26 pounds, 22 was muscle and 4 were fat. After that he would be lucky for 18 or so. I would put Danny's bodyfat at more like 9%, and a little more won't hurt anyway. Need that measured though even a simple neck/waist/height calculator is better then nothing. No chemical help should be considered for a whole lot of years. He is way to young and has plenty of natural hormones anyway. In fact I see no reason to use steroids unless you plan on entering competitions and you really have to. He would be buying new clothes though, after that first year. There is no way his old shirts would fit.

"EndoCreatine is a patent-pending creatine formula designed to maximize the effectiveness of the loading phase and your body’s storage of creatine. It not only increases your body’s natural production of creatine by 3 times, but it also keeps it there. If your body can’t store the creatine once it is inside of you, then you are simply wasting your time and money. EndoCreatine has been proven in medical studies to show a true increase in the natural production of creatine in the body and destroys the toxic homocystein, which has been known to stunt muscle growth."

Muscle milk in my opinion makes an excellent Meal replacement. I'm not saying it's the best, but it has an excellent taste and if you incorporate it into a solid diet right, it can deliver good results. It also makes an awesome weight gainer at the same time, if you use milk i believe you get about 600 some calories.... can deliver good results. that's my opinion on it. it all depends on what youre trying to do:bulk/cut/lose weight |

Okay back to Danny. Avoid overtraining a body part is the only thing I can add. First year I hurt a ligament in my left arm. I had some brilliant idea, since my bench was limited by my left arm strength I "would train it extra". Well, my left arm is now larger and stronger then my right. I happen to be right handed but play sports lefty, so thats okay. But I caused myself tennis elbow and had to quit for 3 months for it to heal, that wasn't okay at all.
Moral of that story, you can build muscle faster then your ligaments and tendons can keep up. Some weighted sit ups will build up those abs, then the tendons will pull tight in there and you will have a six pack. I honestly think you are sub 10% bodyfat atm. Rest your abs, some goofy people here have thought you can work them out more then at most 3 times a week. I would say go for two times a week. I think you probably got some good help already on your routine though.
