Okay ... I currently weigh 110 lbs and im 5"5 ... I want to lose fat and gain some lean muscle ... any advice how i could go bout doing this ???

Hey, looks to me you dont need to lose any fat, your skinny enough, if you want to gain muscle your goin to need to icnrease your eating actually. whats your diet like, hows your training how many hours a week etxc. Protein Fat, Water, Protein. Check out the stickies on Dieting to gain muscle, Or check out the female only forum =D

Hey, I am taking in bout 2500 - 3000 calories per day .. thats what my trainer says i need to take in and i have the ugliest legs and thighs and hips

I think you might need help with your body image. If you can look at those pictures and your ribs poking out and still think you need to lose weight, I would seriously consider seeing a counselor or something.

Pardon being blunt, but I think this thread might be a joke.

I fully agree. And she mentioned her thighs being big in another post. If you check out the picture where you can see her legs, even though she is wearing pants you can see they don't even touch. I definitely feel she is in need of some help from a counselor who deals with BDD.

I thought the same thing. But at the same time, if she has BDD or any sort of body-image disorder, then to her it's all a very real problem and she won't see it until she gets some help. Which brings us back to your last comment of seeing a counselor.

For the time being, I think people should NOT provide her with weight loss advice since she clearly has no fat to lose. All she'd be doing is hurting herself more than she already has, and for a person with BDD, they will NEVER be happy with what they see in the mirror until they get the mental help they need.

I'm now stuck wondering why her trainer hasn't recognized a problem, but then again, she may not express to him what she's expressed to us about how she sees herself.

People, I left a previous board because they were harrasing me for the same thing and its frusterating and I dont want to hear it besides those pictures were taken right after I stopped taking the ephederine and my trainer took my body fat and its 26% .. thats a lot and I need to lose it. I dont have a problem with my weight. I wouldnt mind weighing 130 lbs if it was lean muscle. The thing is the majority of my body now is fat and i take offence to you saying that my thread is a joke because it isnt. My ribs are sticking out in that picture because i was 96 lbs there, im about 110 now.

I dont think you have a lot of fat.. i guess the reason why your body fat % seem a little high is because there wasn't much leanbody mass. Maybe you could if you keep consistent with the clean/healthy eating with enough protein and workout, you'll gain more lean body mass, even though you might not lose any fat, but that'll definitely lower your bodyfat%.. After you feel that you gained enough lean mass, you then can focus more on the losing fat part. because right now, if you try to lose fat, it wont be healthy for you. You can try and it will probably work, but you'll end up looking really skinny with just skins and bones due to the lack of lean mass. I think your trainer would agree that you shouldn't lose too much fat right now, that's why he advise u to take 2500 calorie a day. You should listen to your trainer as well as your body, stop when it hurts or tired. Good luck with your training, You'll be able to achieve your goal someday, just take it one day at a time and dont expect too much. These things take time, just stick with it and have fun doing it. Hope that helps. By the way I think your body is very slim and i can't see much fat and u have a very innocent/kind face. you're beautiful in your own way, and I hope you'll see it one day.

I'm pretty sure that 20something% bodyfat on a girl isn't too bad. Just focus on the building of muscle you already have and forget about losing weight.....Hear me out.....When you are building muscle I think muscle weighs more than fat does, it is more dense than fat and it takes more radiation to penetrate(I'm an X-Ray Technician). So forget the scale and eat a HEALTHY 2500 calories. That means little or no cookies, chips & soda. And keep going to the Gym, not to the treadmill but to the machines and free wt's. Muscle burns more calories than anything else anyway if I remember correctly . Good Luck.

Sigh, tis the truth though, i knew she was crazzy when she said she was intaking 2500-3k calories a day and was still 110 lbs

Sorry that you take offense, however why would you post pics of yourself at 96 lbs and then ask for advice on losing weight and gaining lean muscle mass? Did you not think we would look at the pics and think you look like a waif. If I were you I would get those 2500 calories a day and get a strong lifting program. The problem I see as well, is I don't think you know what you want to "look like". Unless you have no common sense, have some sort of body dysmorphic disorder, or are just a dimwit would you think taking an ECA stack, doing 10 hrs of cardio a day, not getting enough calories to even fuel your bodies normal function, let alone the stress the excessive cardio put it through would help you gain lean muscle mass. So no, I don't think you are serious, I do not think one of sound mind would have posted those waif like pictures unless you were either looking for attention or as a cry for help. Are you going for the Nicole Richey look? In addition, if you left another board because you got the same response...that should tell you something. Also you are asking advice from people who do not know you, have never seen you in person, and over the internet! I think you need to have a serious talk with your trainer and if he can't assist you with your diet, then hire a nutrionist. Then maybe a local mental health facility.

Don't think people are harrassing you... cause honestly I'm not about too..

Your arms look actually not to bad, and your shoulders....

But I can see your ribs, which isn't good.. plus your belly is thin, but lacking in muscular definition..

When I saw your hips... I was stuck by the fact that it's your hip bones that provide your shape, and hold up your pants and not your waist.

Your trainer is a retard, if he says your body fat is 26%.. it's not, no where on your body do you have 26% bf hiding. i'm sorry you just don't.

other then that, it's extremely serious that you got to the point that you passed out on ephedrine... which tells me you were probably not eating or drinking enough... which tells me your mind is not in the right place when it comes to loosing weight safely.

Besides all that, I think your really pretty ....

I'm not sure, but that last picture, the one in color, you seem to have dropped some weight and are beginning to look unhealthy and far to thin. The black and white ones look much better, you still have some decent shape to you. You need some fat to be sexy anyway... and it's quite normal for a fit and attractive woman to carry 12-20% bf...

I'm being totally up front with you.. that includes the part about you looking pretty, if not down right cute.. but that last picture really started to scare me.. And I'm just trying to let you know that.

her bodyfat is more like 15% and are you sure its fat that you can pick on your body instead of skin? i think its just skin, and that you are overreacting saying youa re fat...you need to start eating more lean meats and proteins and limit your cardio to 3 times a week of walking for 30 minutes and training with weights 4 times a week!

sweetie, you really dont need to lose weight. Ill be 100% honest to say that if you are 5'5" and 110 lbs, you have a great heaight to weight ratio for somone with a thin, not too thin, and sexy body. If you even gained 5 lbs and same body fat %, you would have a smokin hot body that every girl would be jealous of. my mother is 5'4 and 107, and she is so tiny, but since she was a firefighter she has a very umm,.. complimented.. figure due to her intense trainig carrying 4" fire hose around. she could use gaining 5 lbs herself, anyway back to you. If you lifted free weights with someone critiquing you so you do them corectly and had a healthy diet, you would develop a very nice figure. good luck. and those other people werent harrassing you, they were being honest that you do need help if you beleive you need to lose fat, because you are already very thin, and attractive. if it makes sense, you are the same height as my son, and you outweigh him by 15 lbs, and he is only skin and bones. im sure he's younger than you,. but he could use adding 25 lbs. come to think of it, i am going to whoop his skinny little butt if he doesnt start eating a lot more.


bottom line is, gain 5 lbs, and gain it in muscle, and you will be top of the line material.
