Ha, thanks man. I use to be little stronger than I am now but shoulder surgery put me back some, so now got to work on getting my bench and squat back up to where they were. I have a good feeling i'll be seeing some good jumps in my bench and deadlift, squat hopefully because I got a little bit of a hammie problem now.

Low Box Squats - 225x12 225x12 225x12

*Side Notes: My hammie is feeling a lot better I think this light day will do me good and I should be ready to go next heavy next week. I love doing ATG squats, i'll probably do those ALL the time now and that's how I'll max out to. I just feel it so much more in my quads and muscles i've never worked before. I'll probably be lifting tomorrow, it's usually my day off, but Thursday I'm going to a funeral so tomorrow will be chest/shoulders/triceps.

...icing the hammie...

*Side Notes: I felt pretty tired during the workout because just got back from a funeral an hour before I started. Otherwise it was ok, my flat bench is on its way back up but after that I was beat already. Tomorrow got deads, might head to the gym and use my last pass. I'm probably going to go buy two 45lb plates soon.

Back/Biceps/Forearms

Deadlift - 315x5 320x5 330x3 340x3 350x1 360x1(PR)w/ belt n chalk,no straps
Hang Cleans - 185x8 205x6 225x4

Wide Grip Hammer Pulldowns - 150x10 160x8 170x6
BB Curls - 90x8 90x8 90x8
Seated Hammer Curls - 40'sx8 40'sx8 40'sx8

*Side Notes:I went to the gym today and used up my last workout pass and had a really good workout. Deads felt great and didn't have to use any straps, the bar was thinner then the one at my house so I could go a lot heavier without the need of straps. I may have over did it on the deads?? but I just felt like going all out. I may consider going to the gym on back/bi days just for deads n that. First time trying pendlay rows I like those a lot i'll probably do those and t-bar rows the most out of any other row exercises.

*Side Notes:
First time going heavy on leg day in a while and I feel really good, pretty sure the hammie is all healed up now. Though my #'s are still **** compared to last year I feel i'm getting stronger and gaining my strength back. On 1st set of SLDL's it felt like I was using my back more than my hammies so dropped it down a little.

Thanks guys that's always motivating my bench has been jumping real good, though i'm more concered with getting my #'s up on deadlift and squat. Just started doing ATG squats and regular deads in place of parrallel and sumo deads, feel those two are much more beneficial.

Lets hope my #'s for squats and deads jump like my bench has. lol

Not too happy with the workout today, everything just felt so much heavier for some reason. I ate like Sh!t yesterday(4th of July) that probably contributed somewhat to a sh!tty workout. Try and get back on track the rest of today and get a good workout tomorrow.

Dont sweat it Matt. Ive been eating real bad since the day after my show but next week I will be back in the gym, full force and concentration as I work towards a NPC National event.

I will strict down on my diet but I will be consuming a lot of calories and carbs to put some weight on and have good workouts.

My ultimate goal would be competing as a middleweight but if I can come in at welterweight or heavy lightweight next time around, I would be happy with that.

Thanks for the congrats.

That's cool, what is the weight requirment for middleweight?

Any idea what your split is going to look like when you start hitting the weights again? I like the one you gave me, it has been doing real good so far.

Those are some crazy awesome squats, how high is the box? What do you do on ATG?

Haha thanks, well I do my box squats on my bench and for high box squats it was just a little above parrallel. For low box squats i'd say it was pretty close to ATG but not that deep. We just always use to do high box squats(little above parrallel) during football so I still do them, but is their any point in them? lol I think it helps me with heavier weights and getting those last few reps up.

I just started doing ATG squats about 3 weeks ago and last workout I did them I got 315x3 for 2 sets, so nothing great.
