wow everything is def still sore today. im almost a little dissappointed in my ATG squat, because my normal squat to parallel is huge, while my ATG is puny. lol idk, im gonna stick with it though as it seems to hit more muscle fibers and will be best for developing my ass and lower back and legs even more. def. need an ass, as i have huge legs and flat ass.

Are you applying any ice or is it just heat?

BTW, do not take any NSAID's!

Dude, stay away from heat. Ice, ice, and more ice. Take a damn ice bath if you have to. I have done it after squats before. You probably didn't eat enough after (and rest of the day) if you are still sore.

NSAIDS is ibuprofen....taking it a little isn't going to hurt you. I don't give a damn what studies Traps posts up. If it will allow you to productively train deads go for it.

NSAID = Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs, like ibuprofin and asprin.

After just one dose, I can see and measure a difference in muscle size for a couple days. Perhaps I'm a little more sensitive to this stuff then other people, but never the less, anti inflammatory drugs certainly do the trick of reducing inflammation. Gotta love the people that think studies are nothing more then evil black magic. Without the research we wouldnt have half the sh*t we have now if people thought like JLO does. Basically just avoid NSAID's as much as possible. Its not like your pain is chronic, so the NSAID comment was more a generality, once probably wont bother you (although it does me) but consistant use will have a negative impact.

Anyways........ information......

NSAID's and muscle
