My bad when I was saying PR I meant increasing the weight/reps and not max, I kind of fvcked up the meaning in what I was saying.

A'ight y'all. Today I did some bench work.
Bench Warmed up and acclimated for a while, and then I worked. cg 395x2x2 mg 410x2x3 wg 410x2x2 I did these with NO spot. I think I might've had another rep in me, but I didn't want to find out otherwise with nobody around. lol incline bench (on Jones machine for my own safety). 335x5x4 Flat DB Press 100x15x2 (parallel grip) Lateral raises 40x15x4 Front raises 35x15x2 I did a little tricep work with the rope, but nothing worth mentioning - just wanted to cool the elbows down a bit. |

I figure blast hard for 4-8 weeks (depending on a few circumstances, but this is about as long as someone who honestly trains all out can go before having some sort of deload) and then come down for a few weeks. For 4-8 weeks, you most certainly can increase work weights... Of course, you can increase volume in a few different ways as well.

Alright, tore into some back. Started off with the lats today to change things up a bit.
Pullups (wide grip) 12x4 I tend to use these as more of a warm up exercise than anything else. Moderately wide grip underhand pulldowns 185x15 200x15x3 Bent BB Rows 275x8x2 315x8x3 Face Pulls SS w/Rear Delt Flies 150x15 - 45x15 x 5 |

I ended up getting busy tonight. I did some biceps and went running. I have NO idea why. But that's not important.
I'm in the process of growing a beard. I have decided that it is what Chuck Norris would think I should do so it will be done. I have the ability to grow a LOT of facial hair fast, so I should be Chuck-esque in no time. |

Took a couple of measurements today - weight and abdominal circumference. I don't buy a whole lot of stock in weight (not as much as I do by looking in the mirror, but I was just curious because I hadn't been on the scale in a few weeks and I'm setting at 241 as of today (I had dropped to the lower 230s after the guys came down to TX and we partied ourselves senseless). My abdominal circumference (around the belly button) is at 33" even, so it has dropped a few fractions of an inch, even though I'm quite a bit bloated right now and I haven't been eating completely clean...
My new goal is to get my upper legs as big as my waist at their largest point - right now, they're 31 1/8"... For those who ask, I'm just under 6' (5'11 1/2"). |
