You really should be looking at a combination of martial arts - taekwondo, kick boxing, Brazilian JJ etc .... as for the gymnastics side of things - try gymnastics.

Look for a mixed martial arts (MMA) style training studio in your area - they teach different aspects from many codes of fighting.

Tae Kwon Do-known for high kicking, board breaking, and athletics
Muay Thai-Brutal knees, elbows, leg kicks
Brizilian Jiu Jitsu-Ground fighting, joint locks, chokes
Judo-Throws, some chokes, some joint locks
Karate-kicking, punching, and athletics
Krav Maga-Brutal Israeli self defense methods
Pankration-Newer Greek martial art, ground fighting, and striking
Capoeira-Brazilian Martial art combining kicks and punches with dance
Kung Fu-Ancient Chinese martial art meditation, kicking, punches, and blocks
Tai Chi-Chinese Martial art with slow graceful moves, meditation, relaxation

And many more.....

I do Tae Kwon Do and Judo, and am looking to further my training in Pankration (though both Judo and Tae Kwon Do apply to Pankration well)
