You really should be looking at a combination of martial arts - taekwondo, kick boxing, Brazilian JJ etc .... as for the gymnastics side of things - try gymnastics.
Look for a mixed martial arts (MMA) style training studio in your area - they teach different aspects from many codes of fighting. |

to be perfectly honest you we need to know whats your soul purpose for training. if its for ****s and giggles i would do a wide variety of mma. but if you want to do some cage time i would invest in ground game and striking (bjj and thai). sambo is hard to find depending where your at. if your in ny then i know there is alot of places to go to. but if your here in so cal bjj are dime a dozen. all this will factor in on what your motives are. and dont be scared of the guys that are all tatted up and have a crazy haircuts, those are the guys that are the most friendly.
oh and i been training for about 8 years now so i have a lil wisdom in this matter Last edited by BIG RICH; 12-10-2008 at 09:37 AM. Reason: cuase!!!!! |
