just watched blood sport,cannot believe that bolo was fifty when he made this film! another testament to the benefits of bodybuilding,cant find too much info about him,ie workouts diet etc,anyone know?

He looked his best though 20 years earlier when casted against Bruce Lee.

The last I read up on him, he lives in Northern California now, still trains, still defies mother nature and I think he teaches now?
He's been in a few "B" movies here and there, even in the most recent years too.

He was always an anomaly in those early films. One huge Asian dude that made all the other Martial Artists look like twigs. Unfortunately, he was always showcased as the muscle man type and he never got to show his flexibility and skill other then to pick people up or power kick/hit them through a wall!

Shame really. I have read articles about his flexibility and training. Sad he never was given good camera time to show what his skills actually were...

Was a martial arts student of Bruce Lee.

His prefered Martial Arts is Tai-Chi.

He is a former Mr Hong Kong Bodybuilding Champion - he won the title in 1970. and held it for ten years. He is also a former Mainland China powerlifting Champion.

Has two sons, Danny & David Yeung, and a daughter.

Is a Weightlifter he goes to the gym La Fitness and trains alongside his son David, who is a bodybuilding champion in his own right.

In the 1960s he Swam from China to Hong Kong to escape Communism.

Was stereotyped as a villain until he got the chance to play the good guy in Shootfighter: Fight to the death (1992) He Played the good guy in 3 more Movies Shootfighter 2, Fearless Tiger And TC 2000.

Is Hollywood Breakthrouh came when he landed the role of Chong Li in Bloodsport.

He is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Gym Business Association, and the Team Manager of the Tapei international Bodybuilders Squad.

He was born to a local buisness man and his wife in guangzhou Suburbia which is a suburb of canton in Mainland China.

He first became Bodybuilding Teacher in the 1960s.

Also trained in Wing Chun which is another form of Kung Fu.

Was good Friends with Bruce Lee and they would sometimes get together to train or discuss Kung Fu.

He was wrongly described in the films blurb for Enter the Dragon as being the south east Asian shotokon karate champion - he never even practiced that martial art.

Fists the Kicks and the Evils (1979) was his favorite film from that era.

i remember laughing through bloodsport until me and my friends saw bolo, we were like holy sh@@ look how huge his chest is! hard to believe he was 50 there, effing amazing.
