I was trying to get tickets for this and they've sold out.... of course you can get some here & there for like, $500 a pop. I'm SO miffed!!!

You can watch it on my 42" lcd if you don't hanging out and playing poker with a bunch of guys drinking beer. A lot cheaper than $500!

HAHA tempting. You really are what, only an 1.5 drive away i guess??

A group of us usually go to the local bar...they have INCREDIBLE nachos. We'll see how good my physique is coming along before i decide if i get any LOL. One UFC night i got busted for bringing in my own food (although i've done it numerous times before) and was asked to either leave or put it away LOL the manager was really tacful, she said "she knew that it's imortant to be thrifty". I had a good laugh. I said "trust me, it's not cost of your food that's stopping me from eating and in all honesty i'd much rather be eating it than this". I explained to her that i had a competition coming up. BUt i still had to go outside to finish it.

Very simple and very effective.

Even people who dont know about fighting or MMA, can see that GSP is the more noticably skilled fighter, but that doesnt mean he will win as he got his ass handed to him in a major way the first time he fought Serra. Matt Serra is the current champ and he earned his victory and I guarantee he will come to fight, win or lose, it wont be easy for either combatant.
But Matt Serra deserves the respect for being champ and deserves the respect for his dominance of GSP in the first fight!!!!

Actually, GSP was WINNING that first fight against Matt Hughes and, point wise, would have won had Matt Hughes not sunk that armbar. It was a very close fight that Matt Hughes pulled out. That's what champions do... Kudos to Matt, He was the luckier fighter that night.

Again, there was no dominance over GSP by Serra. The fight didn't last long enough for him to get DOMINATED. GSP trained for Serra to take it to the mat and when Serra came in, GSP went to defend the take down, foolishly, and got clocked in the side of the head for it. He never recovered and Matt Serra took advantage. That's all it was - a GREAT, executed game plan on Serra's part. Now, I'm not trying to take away from his win, a "W" is a "W", unless if it's in the Superbowl and the referees throw the game for you, but GSP is too smart to make that mistake twice. There is a chance for Serra to actually win, but if he is that lucky that night, I am running out and buying me some lottery tickets because GD!

You never know... Any given fight night. Who in their right mind would think that Keith Jardine would beat Chuck Liddell?

You can try to scientifically break it down all you want, but the facts are the facts and from what I saw that night, GSP got clocked and then got fvcking worked and the ref called the fight...VICTORY TO SERRA! Enough said.

He didn't take Serra as seriously as he should have. No offence to Serra, who is a great fighter, but when GSP puts his mind to it and trains as hard as he can hes virtually unstoppable.

GSP will KILL Serra this time! I know you were talking about Serra earlier, but did you see GSP in his last fight against Hughes?? He killed Hughes and anybody with MMA knowledge knows that Hughes is a tough fight. I cant wait to see GSP tear though Matt "The Chump" Serra!!

Thats why I said 'virtually.' I agree with you though in that Serra gets no respect. But common man. Look at the second pic you posted with him wearing the belt. Even he couldn't believe he won lol.

I took that more as being comical to those who thought he couldnt win it.
I am an underdog rooter, I always root for the man who is against the odds.
But I also like Serra very much. He's a class guy with a big heart and he won me over when he was on the reality show and he stood up for Gracie when that ass clown bozo was making fun of him.

I heard that Matt Hughes wants to fight Serra next no matter if he loses or wins. I hope so, because Matt Hughes is a major dick and I'd love to see Serra pull out a victory over him.

I personally wanted Hughes to win the one fight so he could have elevated himself to a championship fight and most importantly with his rival Serra. They both wanted to fight each other badly.

Pierre made easy meat out of Hughes though. Least thats my opinion.

My mind isn't working a peak efficiency right now. I thought when you were saying "the first fight" you were referring to Matt Hughes for some reason. Looking back on it, I don't see how I did that. I knew the rest was about Matt Serra.

Hughes is a dick and I don't like him at all.

I am ready for Tim Silvia to sit down. That b*tch is a joke. Always with the pushing people away and doing just enough to keep the opponent from beating him. He never wins, only uses his height and arm reach to push his opponent away. It was awesome when Randy Couture came out of retirement to beat Tim's ass and take that belt!! Even Randy thinks Tim is a big pussy. I will hand it to him for taking one helluva punch right on the chin from Andrei Arlovski and got back up to WIN! One and only time I will give him credit. Punk.
