The Lakers are struggling with consistency (3-1), but I am not putting to much merit to it at the moment because we dont have Pau Gasol in the lineup and Ron Artest is still finding his way in the triangle... Either way, Ron gets to face his old team tonight and Ariza gets to extract a little revenge against Jerry Buss.
Shaq showed his value last night, had a big game for the Cav's win. But Delonte West is fvcked, as he was indicted for 8 counts of gun trafficking. Dude had a loaded shotgun, as well as handguns and in a state that has no tolerance to that sh!t... The Shmeltics are looking strong (5-0), but I think with their old age, staying healthy and finding a way to make it through the grueling 82 games schedule is going to be their biggest tasks. They will find another EASY win tonight in Minny. The Suns, the Mav's and the Nuggets (aka the Testicles), are all looking very good out the gate. The West is definitely a superior division over the East. |

So much for the Suns - blown out by Orlando without Rashard or Vince in the lineup. Orlando looked awful vs. Detroit the night before though.... |

I just think its to early in the season to tell anything. A lot of teams made some major changes and you can practice until the cows come home, but the cohesion is made in exhibition games. I think we'll see the real teams come about game 15-20.

The Lakers are still struggling without their 2nd best player. 2nd overtime game in a row, barely edged out a win over Houston. I was not pleased to see the Schmeltics survive that win over Minny, that would have been a nice loss The testicles, I mean the Nuggets, are still undefeated too |

The Celtics will win it this year. If Lebron goes to LA next year I may start making plans to bomb the stadium and have the FO assassinated.

The Suns (6-1) went into Boston on Friday and left with a victory....
Nice home loss already for Boston (6-1) The Champ's (6-1), without their #2 player all year (Gasol) and now more recently without Bynum, are showing their depth and tenacity as a team as they rack up victories regardless (5 in a row) Orlando got destroyed by the Oklahoma City Thunder - oops BUT they were shorthanded (no VC, no Lewis) * I am dissapointed about a few things this year in the NBA. One is the new rule of allowing a player to take 2 steps after he picks up his dribble...garbage! Why? Because for years the refs have silently allowed 2 steps, but now I am seeing people get away with 3 steps...its' ridiculous. The other thing is the new rims. They are more "forgiving" and allow that softness for shooters. On shots that fall short, instead of the ball bouncing "off" the front of the rim, now alot of the times it will bounce "up and over" the front of the rim and then it finds it's way in the hole I know these things are designed to "speed up" the game, allow more scoring, but I think they are taking away from the fabric of the game itself....oh well. |

The rims are very obvious. I noticed it in pre-season and just thought it was because of the Arena's they were playing in. Then the season started and I thought it was just other teams, but then I noticed it at home too. Last night Kobe made at least 4 free throws that were short and might not have dropped last year, but they bounced "up" and back and then found a way in the bottom of the net. Mbenga threw up a shot put from the top of the key LOL and it banged up off the front of the rim about 15 feet above the rim, then came down and bounced around the rim and dropped in LOL!!! . |

And WTF is Allen Iverson's problem? If he would put his huge ego aside, the fvcker could go down as one of the great 6 mans to ever play the game. Mr. instant offense off the bench.
Vinny "the microwave" was made famous for this in Detroit. It would also extend his career But, instead, he'd rather further solidify himself as a baby playing a mans game My prediction is that Iverson will jump ship, become the biggest NBA'r to cross over to Europe. I think his NBA days are numbered . Last edited by BiggerGuns=LongerDrives; 11-09-2009 at 11:04 AM. |
