I'm HOT as fire!!! Maybe I should get a Lottery ticket?
OK first off, I have not called a Radio Station for a contest since I was a teenager, but of the ordinary, 2 days ago my wife calls me on my cell and tells me to call a Radio Station (Power 106).
There was a contest to win 4 tickets to Disneyland. Well, It's 8pm at night, I'm on my way home, I didnt want to be bothered with it but she said she felt in her heart that if I called, I'd win. So I spent the next 2-3 minutes repeatedly calling the station, finally someone picked up, and BAM, I was the winner!!!!!!...LOL  I was on the radio and I won 4 tickets to Disneyland with paid parking as well.Now we fast forward to today: My company held a contest for last month's totals and each time a quota was met, the individual got a raffle ticket and the prize was a $350 gift certificate to any Marriott or it's affiliates, along with a $50 gas card. So today was the raffle and as it was happening, I got this feeling inside and I just knew 100% that I won, so I said it out loud, that I had won, that I knew it. I then stood up as it was being pulled, and guess who's number was called? Yep, me! I'm a lucky stud!!!!! The wife's going to love me when I come walking through the door today

We are about an hour from Disneyland (with no trafffic), so thats not a problem.
So for the Hotel stay, we are thinking maybe Vegas, San Diego or possibly Mammoth Mtn. in a few months.....The wife wants to go to Palm Springs as well, but there's really not much to do there but veg out at the side of a pool. Or maybe we can go to Fresno

I used to go every year on private land, PERFECT pickings there, I'm talking rich deposits of fossils. You barely dig and the stuff is all there! BUT the land owner died and the property is guarded and in process of being sold to possible museums . But I know other spots on public land in the area, they are heavily dug and the pickings are less fossiliferous, but you can still find good stuff. We'll plan a trip in the very near future if you want. Oh and if you wait till monday I can send you pics of the fossils I find up there...
