Britt's: please answer this (Obama recent visit related)

There is an email being passed around our office of Barrack and his recent visit over the pond. There is a specific picture in question of Obama shaking hands on his way in to a building with a British Officer.

The problem is they are saying this picture speaks volumes as the officer is not supposed to shake hands. I being the bad apple of the bunch, pointed out to everyone in the department who were discussing that this was not a Royal guard, the ones who stand outside the Palace and wont flinch a muscle for anyone.....BUT nobody wants to believe this.

Am I right, is this a British Police officer in this pic and if so is he allowed to shake hands with the public???

In Great Britain, just like America, the police can touch the public, shake hands with the public, and beat the public with sticks and taser guns. Although in Britain, an officer can't actually shoot a member of the public unless it is under one of those manipulated 'anti-terror' laws.

Then the officer has the right to put seven bullets into the back someones head on a train carriage.

The Royal Guard (the idiots in the red suits and ridiculous hats) is really a pointless symbolic occupation, for them, the etiquet is such that one must not touch the public or even acknowledge. Such is the image of though that harks back to the pointless monarchy.

Dont know how i missed this? i suspect that its not a British officer at all, more like the guy in uniform is infact an American bodyguard to the President? like Jim said i too have never seen a black officer outside number 10,the officer that supposedly shot the guy 9 times on the train was i think not a police officer at all but infact British special forces. yes i am very British.

Probably the only black cop in all of London - yep, the Brits play political games almost as well as we do. Gotta cater to the press, Black Caucus, ACLU, etc., or Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will board a plane for Heathrow and start blackmailing and threatening people over there too.

do we have black policemen...yes, loads...sadly there is a 'forceful recruitment drive' to balance the numbers of ethnic minorities. Same in the fire service....
If you are white you will be dumped back in favour of an ethnic minority with equal qualifications/grades

The person that shot the supposed terrorist Charles Menezes was not a policeman but special forces. Police officers do not carry unless they are special units.
The fact he was shot 9 times in the head with an MP3 makes this all too clear lol.

Royal palace guards are not allowed to move unless threatened, then its whoop ass time. These guys have SA80's with a bayonet so pick your fights wisely!

Sorry that we are sending over the HORRIBLE Tampa Bay Fvckinqueers, er, I mean Buccanneers to represent the game of football. Clearly, the Sucks know nothing about the game of American football. I guess the bright spot is that you'll be able to watch a massacre and drink lots of booze. The Patriots (probably not your favorite mascot) will probably score 6-8 touchdowns, take the Bucs travel money, and probably sleep with their wives at halftime.
