So Chuck lost his second fight in a row last night. Seems to me like they finally figured out that he aint that invincable after all. All he ever did was throw that straight right hand. He can punch real hard tho.I remember Ortiz took him to the ground once last year and he had this confused look on his face as he waited for his corner to tell him what to do. Also UFC's marketability is gonna go way down after this. Everyone knows who Lidell is but they dont know any of the other fighters who work just as hard.

Chuck is not a fool on the ground and few man have put him there and kept him there. I remember the Ortiz fights with Chuck and sure, Tito got him down once but he was right back up on his feet in a moment and he was never confused...I love Tito, but he was the only confused one in those fights. Although just as Chuck dominated Tito in those 2 fights, Rampage did the same to Chuck and far worse.... I havent seen the Jardine fight to see what has happened I do know that Chuck is a good wrestler and was a world champion kick boxer. Join that with his powerful and heavy hands and thats how he became champ. He is no chump and his career is long from over... After all Randy Coture had a few bad losses and retired, but look at him now as Randy is probably the greatest Champion in the history of MMA And on another note, from the week before, Hamil whooped Bisbing's as$ and was robbed!!!!! And holy sh!t, who saw the Chris Leiben fight? That was amazing!!!! |

I saw the fight on Saturday and was very disapointed. I like Lidell, but that didnt look like him in the ring. I mean "Keith Jardine"...... Come on he's no world champ and he won a decesion.. Chuck has two options now the way I see it. He can curl up in a ball and call it quits, or he can use these two fight as fuel to get his but back in the gym, trian harder than ever before, and come back out on top. Although I dont think he will be able to ever beat Rampage as he has Chucks number, but who knows?? Houston Alexander is a mean mofo and I think his intensity could take out Jackson? Just my two cents..

Forrest is a tough dude, that is showing vast improvment through his carrer so far. I love the pride merge with ufc, its definatly shaking things up a bit!
As for what Hitman said about the Ufc slowing down because of Lidell is just crazy! Ufc is hotter than ever and will continue to grow as they continue to market it the way they do. Zuffa enterprises are some smart dudes the way they structure there marketing and by offering free fights periodically on spike to keep the customers HAPPY! That was one of boxing biggest mistakes..

UFC is bigger than ever before and much of it was sparked with the Ultimate Fighter reality show and now with the merge with Pride, it will sky rocket!!!! |

Well heres my take on it. Im a big MMA fan aswell and I ve been followin UFC and pride for years. I just dont like UFC now that it went mainstream and they changed a few rules around. 2 years ago I used to tell people that Chuk liddell aint all that and that he got his ass beat by Rampage over at pride and everyone would be like what are u talkin about?whos rampage?id prefer boxing over UFC anyday but everyones entitled to their own opinion. By they way Keith Jardine looks straight outa San Quentin level 3 special housing unit segregated aaryan nation member.
And Shoguns defeat was kinda dissapointing, he looked gassed out after round 2.But he opened a canyon deep cut in Forrests forehead. As fat as tito goes, Id have to say the most important thing hes done recently is bang that porn start chick, thats about it. He was a total prick on the spike show and he seems way to arrogant for his own good. |

Did any of you fellas watch UFC WAY back in the day when Hoyce Gracie and those buys used to be in it. Back when the only rule was no eye gouging, and no gloves were worn either. Man, it was so intense back them. It was like UFC 1- 10 i have them all on VHS. But man, that was some good raw fighting.

Shamrock and gracie were always fighting back in the day. I still got a few old UFCS from back in the day. They also had this knockout elimination thing where a fighter would fight 3 times in one night if he made it to the final...good ol days. What they really need to do is bring back American Gladiator!

I love Pride too, much more brutal with the rules being so non chalant. So far as "The Ultimate Fighter" Did you watch every episode as it doesnt seem so?? The as$hole of that show turned out to be Ken Shamrock, he was a horrible coach and very unpersonable...but hey, it's TV. I met him in person once outside a Subway with his family and he was very quick to give me an autograph, but the show shed light to a different Ken. Tito was a great coach and helped all his guys alot and supported them to no end and coached them with much respect. Tito was a great coach and will be back if he and Dana can squash the beef. That show was when Tito won my respect. Previous to that I respected his fighting but always thought he was a prick. |

On topic of the 1st UFC's back in the day
Bruce Lee is the creater of Modern MMA. He was the first to hold a tournament in Los Angeles that was comprised of all sorts of mixed martial artists battling it out for supremecy. The UFC was created in the same idea and that was what was great about it. The original UFC's were the best and always will be based solely on the premise, which was an event to show who's martial art is greater than the others. You had kickboxers, Muay Thai fighters, wrestlers, sumo wrestlers, Boxers, Karate guys, Kung Fu, JuJitsu etc, etc...from all over the world, ready to get it on. And we all learned what was the most dominant art.....Which was Ju-Jitsu!!! Royce Gracie showed the world that a skinny average looking guy could dominate men much stronger and over 100 lbs heavier than him. It is Ju-jitsu that really started it all and now days, every fighter has well rounded skills in most arts. It's now a compilation of skills that are possesed by the best fighters. Today, the UFC has evolved into a display of truly "mixed- Martial art fighting" |

I watched a couple of seasons. I watched the first season I think it was when griffin and bonnar went at it.What a fight man!that was sumthin else.I watched the season when diego won aswell I think but after that it got boring. I stopped watchin after rashad evans season. I did watch tito and shamrock season but i thought tito was bein mad disrespectful.
As far as the owners go I was always under the assumption that the Fertita brothers owned UFC and Dana was a littel shareholder and a spokesperson since he had more publicity from his boxing days... |

Yeah man, the Bonnar Griffen battle has to be one of the best fights of all time. Watch this season that just started of the Ultimate Fighter (I think it's on Tonight) as it is going to be a good one, lots of drama and fights in the house |
