Got robbed last night.
I went to sleep at 4am, woke up to find not only is girlfriends bicycle missing, but so are a bunch of other things. Had the cops stop by, there's nothing we can do really. Of all the roommates I seemed to get the worst of it. They went though my motorcycle gear (which was downstairs in a closet) and it had my registration, insurance information, cell phone, wallet with my credit card and debit card + money, as well as a few other things. My cell phone was brand new, 400 dollar PPC that I spent a lot of time modding and putting **** on.
They didn't take other **** though. We had laptops, game consoles, paintball guns, ect ect and the only thing that was gone were some video games (200$ worth of Wii games) dvds, and my wallet stuff and my cell phone. They were nice enough to leave my keys and wallet with my ID in it at least. My motorcycle was moved too, but I have it chained to a cement block thats about 100lbs 3 foot underground, so it wasn't going anywhere. I've never been madder. I'm waiting for hobos to come out, and then seeing if any are selling the games that were stolen. Not only will I get the games back for my roommate, but anything else. If all else fails I'll end up beating the **** out of him if I find him.

Ain't nothing safe anymore. I've had someone fool around with my truck one time out here but I park it under the street light now...they siphoned gas out of it on me. Sucks man, can't believe there's nothing the cops can do with it.

Oh, I'm staying right here. If I have to sleep with my paintball gun and paint anyone who walks through the door every night I will.
As it is, the one roommate and I are sleeping downstairs for a bit. I want those ****ers to come back so I can beat the **** out of them.

Dude, that friggin' sux man. As much of a techie geek you are, I can't believe you don't have video monitoring setup dude. It isn't expensive at all man, especially if you spent $400 on a phone.
We live in a nice area and our mailbox got knocked over with a pumpkin one year, I installed that sh*t and caught the bastards next Halloween.

I found out today that my grandma's house got broken into last night. All of her jewelry, tv's, antique guns, heirlooms, basically anything of value was stolen. The house was torn apart, things broken and thrown everywhere. It sucks, man. It didnt happen to me, but I can feel for my grandma and what she is going through right now.
I hope you find the f*ckers who did it and beat the ever living sh*t out of them. I know I would.

As far as cafe goes........ dude they aint coming back......... go sleep in your bed. As far as jlo's suggestion....... video equipment is cheap. Hell, go buy a webcam, there's software that will start recording from the web cam when it detects motion. It can ftp/email.... pictures, and you can remotely log into a web page and monitor from another pc.
