I think people in the public eye should get stiffer punishments for their crimes NOT less.
It sends out the wrong message when these people get away with stuff.

She should stay in jail that's where she belong. She's white trash with money, that's all there is to it. |

I like her. I don't think she should get any harsher punishment than she got before. If she wasn't Paris Hilton she would have gotten parol and community service not jail time. Not sure why she was released home, if she does have a mental issue why wasnt' she released to a mental hospital?

I think that she got a heavier sentence than a non-celebrity would have gotten for the same violation.
I do not think that just because she is celebrity and is "spoiled" means she should get stiffer penalties. I just read up on this...and it is really messed up what they are putting her through. I feel for the girl. Last edited by Hannainnc; 06-08-2007 at 12:00 PM. |

You know im sick of all these hollywood stars getting away with everythign cause of either there wealth or there familys reputation...
I live in NJ , and if you got caught drinking and driving, youd lose your liscence period no second chance.... I feel what sentence she got , she deserved and she should serve it , not have a pathetic breakdown, and go home to her mansion, where everything is at a fingers grasp for her... thats bs.... I got in trouble as a juvenile, and i didnt get a lesser sentence , i got locked up for 82 days in a juvenile facilty, ..... If anything i believe movie stars/musicians deserve a harsher sentence, due to the fact soo many young mind focus in on them and wanna be like them, what kind of message are we sending to people.. adults and children alike, when we let somebody like this slip through the loopholes of the US judicial system....

Am i allowed to call this b*tch a b*tch on this site w/o getting banned?
I have never liked Paris Hilton or anybody who takes their parents/not deserved money for granted. I cant stand people like that. They think they have +1 on the world. The real situation is sad because she will never know how REAL accomplishment feels like. THe accomplishment that can ONLY come through hard work and struggle.

Paris Hilton Screams As She's Ordered Back To Jail
Friday June 8, 2007 CityNews.ca Staff Paris Hilton is going back to the one place where not even her money can save her - a Los Angeles jail cell. The almost inevitable outcome of her court appearance came Friday, after the hotel heiress was brought back before a judge in handcuffs. The 26-year-old was escorted out of the courtroom screaming and crying as she was led away to complete her 45 day penalty for violating the terms of her probation on a drunk driving charge. It was clear from the moment the proceedings began there was little sympathy for the poor little rich girl. She was originally supposed to be able to monitor the proceedings by phone from her home, where she was under house arrest. But she was sternly ordered back in person by an unamused judge Michael T. Sauer. Hilton had suddenly been released by the sheriff's department on Thursday after being diagnosed with an undisclosed medical problem. That violated the order of an angry Sauer, who had originally ordered she not be let out early, couldn't leave wearing an ankle bracelet and wasn't to be considered for house arrest. Yet those were exactly the terms of her premature release. She was escorted back to a waiting police cruiser in handcuffs after the decision, screaming "It's not right!" The courthouse became a zoo during Hilton's appearance, with paparazzi, fans and the news media all over the place. There were some supporters present, but most of the general public doesn't seem too sympathetic to her case. "Driving like that, you have to behave," observes Moses Baltazar, who once worked for Hilton as a valet. "If you're rich, you have money, you have to respect yourself."
