Who has a dog?
My roommate got a puppy about 2 months ago. She's a lab/greyhound/pit mutt. My one roommate is a bipolar crazy girl who my other roommate, the boyfriend, got the dog for at her request, thinking it would help her be less depressed. Since she's bipolar and/or crazy and sleeps all day, and my roommate works 24/7, I get to take care of the dog mostly. Gotta say I love her
 Pretty obedient; I already taught her to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, house broke her, and taught her to not jump when she meets people.Just curious who has a dog, and who has thought about how much fun it would be, to be as easily amused as a dog and have a blast just running around the backyard. Cause I just spent the past hour running around with her and I gotta say it was fun

I have two and a foster. I hiked with my two until my 'old man' lost the feeling in his feet from lyme disease and started getting hurt on the trails. My little b*tch is a nut...but a very smart nut and very drivey. She really needs to be working more. She was supposed to be herding, tracking, and doing agility and obedience work by now...but my plans for her got waylaid a bit.
They are constantly at my side when I'm in the house or out in the yard. Don't know what I would do without them. They are my shadows.

Dogs are mans best friend.
They socialize with us so much, and can show ridiculous amounts affection and love towards us. I love my dog.. he's a australian sheppard/collie mix.

haha, kinda of like my roommates dog. I taught her how to walk the first time(s), and since when I walk her I keep her right to my right side, she follows me around right to my right, unless she is too busy running around the back yard.
At least yours is smart. Mine may be a little dumb lol. She doesn't get the concept of a laser, and if your grab her tail and shake it she bites it like a toy. BTW, now with pic goodness

My childhood dog of 12 years passed in October. I have a deposit on a litter of field bred labs that is to be born this week. I am so excited I can barely contain myself. My parents are picking up a new golden puppy this weekend. Dogs Rule.

 I miss my Cody. I only have visitation rights, lol. I get to see him every other weekend when I pick my daughter up @ her Dad's house. He is so excited when he does get to see me. Kaila wants to take him with us when we go down to Florida in a few weeks, not sure how that will fly with me. I don't want to have to worry about a pet on vacation.

I have an american bulldog. This pick is from 4-5 months ago. He's 90lbs now. He turns two years old on tuesday. He my baby!!

I used to have a brindle color pitbull.But had to give it away due to my old landlord being a peice of knob cheese.
Now I just have cat that someone abandoned in the hallway as a kitten. But I miss my dog. When I get my own place,I want to get an English Bulldog.

I would like to get a dog someday...right now all I have is my cat, which my secretary was going to let go stray as a kitten and I couldn't have that. We had a dalmatian when I was a kid growing up...if I find a pic I'll scan it in and post it, she was a beautiful dog.

I have a 2 yr old Chocolate Lab - Maggie. Love her to death. She sleeps in her own lazy boy in the den. A little hyper still, but has calmed down alot.
Dogs are great.

Hi guys,
I have an English Bulldog..he's three, so ugly he's cute! Buff one too. Today was a crapy day and we were at the vets office n he started to give me these puppy dog eyes i felt so much better. Thing is, its times like today that make me feel guilty for teasing him, i guess they enjoy any attention too though. I love my borris. Last edited by jralva; 06-01-2007 at 08:39 PM.

I've got a dog. We were told she's a Shih-Tzu, but the groomer says she looks and acts more like a Havanese, so we don't know what she is. We just know she's cute, nutty and a barrel of laughs. My other dog, a schnoodle (schnazuer/poodle mix) passed on last September. I still miss her and the good times we had. Dogs are awesome. We're working on getting another so the nut has a buddy to play with since she's started beating up the cats. lol
