Default Car Wiring - Ground Loop issues

So I am having issues with my Sirius radio and ground loop noise. The power for the Sirius is an accessory DC adaptar that is directly hardwired into the power for the main DC outlet. It is grounded to some metal part underneath the stereo. Does anyone know if I reground the wire in a different spot will that fix my problem?

Wtf, its $17 I'd like to fix it for free. I am assuming a floating ground loop is a ground loop isolator?

Ground loop isolators should be the last resort - there is an underlying problem there causing the noise. Suggestions:
1) Try another grounding point - make sure it's a chassis ground, not just a piece of metal in there somewhere. Generally speaking, a piece of metal under the dash isn't going to be grounded to the chassis. Make sure there isn't any paint on the grounding point.
2) Signal cables - are there any sources of power running in close proximety to the signal cables? If so, the signal cables can pick up noise from the power cable. Make sure you isolate the two; at least make sure they aren't running parallel to each other.

There is another spot in there that looks like it has a bunch of wires grounded to it. Maybe I will try that.
