Default Thinking of purchasing an elliptical..

If you knew me youd know im one of the laziest people around, regardless of my dedication to BBing.

Anyway, I don't like running for extended periods of time. I don't like treadmills.

I am thinking of buying one of those 2 in 1 elliptical + bikes...

Pretty cheap off this one manufacturer, athough I am skeptical of how long it would last.

I like just hopping on the elliptcal bada bing bada boom your done for the day, after 30-40 mins in the morning.. right in my basement. So simple.. It would be hard for me to skip a session its so easy. I can just put on some tunes and that sh!t flies by so quick.. I dont have to run the streets.

I know I might get some "do HIIT" or "run you girl".. seriously I don't give a sh!t about running. I am a BBer. Hell, Ill do HIIT on my elliptical. My goal is to have stunning muscles with low BF. I dont care to be fast, or have a strong as oak heart.. none of that. Build muscle, keep BF down town deal.

Anybody smell me? anybody here that ows an elliptical to keep the BF% down with great success?

i have an elliptical, it is not commercial and does not really compare to something like a precor at the gym, but it serves it's purpose. If you are going to use it several times per week it will be worth it to spend $$$$ on a nice on OR be sure to buy an extended warranty.

As far as success keeping bf down ... I gotta use it to effectively do that. I have a treadmill as well...I enjoy switching it up...both are boring.

I have both.
I switch it up too....usually, I hop on the treadmill in the morning, but sometimes, I'm just not feelin it, so I use the elliptical instead.
I usually use it when I'm not feeling particularly energetic, and running will take too much out of me. I get on the elliptical.
My bodyfat is kept down, but I can't be certain whether it's the elliptical, the treadmill, the outdoor running, the weight training, or the diet.
Hmmm. Idunno...might be a combination of all of them.
