i have an elliptical, it is not commercial and does not really compare to something like a precor at the gym, but it serves it's purpose. If you are going to use it several times per week it will be worth it to spend $$$$ on a nice on OR be sure to buy an extended warranty.
As far as success keeping bf down ... I gotta use it to effectively do that. I have a treadmill as well...I enjoy switching it up...both are boring.

I have both.
I switch it up too....usually, I hop on the treadmill in the morning, but sometimes, I'm just not feelin it, so I use the elliptical instead. I usually use it when I'm not feeling particularly energetic, and running will take too much out of me. I get on the elliptical. My bodyfat is kept down, but I can't be certain whether it's the elliptical, the treadmill, the outdoor running, the weight training, or the diet. Hmmm. Idunno...might be a combination of all of them. |
