Hey, file your card stolen right away, they'll ask if you charged it or not and they'll erase it for you. Happened to me before.

when my sis-in-law came to visit she left her debit card at walmart and when she came home she has 2400 spent on it...her bank refunded all of.
Scary that someone could spend that much money on a debit card like a credit card...I mean does no one ask for identification or even attempt to match a signature. I hope you get all your $$ back wayne, I mean alex. |

yeah but you can't leave it blank because then the person who stole it can sign it. Then if you put see ID on the back everyone gets all pissy at the check-out counter and they don't look anyway. sucks either way

well ain't that a *****... i've had my debit card compromised without ever losing a card too, and also my credit card stolen from my gym locker in the last couple of years.
If I could just my hands on those people... well, I'd probably turn 'em over to BG=LD for a whoopin

You really should be signing the card anyway. I usually sign really lightly in pen, then right over it in marker in huge letters. ASK FOR ID. All three credit card companies advise that you SHOULD sign your card. Merchants are not supposed to accept your credit cards if they aren't signed. Granted most merchants disregard this but I have been turned away because my card wasn't signed. By signing your card normally then writing over in large print SEE ID or ASK FOR ID you do your best to protect against fraud.
