anyone ever been ski-ing?

any of you guys ever go or have evr been skiing.
i went to the rockies last year. one of the best holidays of my life.
i was absolutely gutted a week in cause i thought you had to be 21 to drink in canada. i never found out it was 18 till half way through my holiday. i went straight out and got totally wasted..........

Been skiing since i was 6 years old. Been out west a few times to Heavenly, Kirkwood, Squaw valley, and a couple others. Plan on going to Whistler one of these years but something keeps coming up to mess with my plans.

im goin to whistler next jan. last place i went was right next to whistler though so itll be pretty much the same

Started when I was 5 or 6. I raced for 2-3 years then stopped because of hockey. I plan on skiiing again when I go out west for work terms in another year and a bit. Seems like everyone is snowboarding now, skiiing is not as popular as it used to be... especially for people in my generation.

yeah but for a once a year thing you cant beat skiing as it doesnt really take long to get the hang of....

where is heavenly? is that colarado or somethin like that.

Ya, I live right next to 3 mountains with slopes. One is about 10 miles up the road. I like to ski-board (the miniature skis) because you dont need ski poles, it is a lot like roller blading.

lucky bastard....ive been skiing many many times and it is the sh*t! I love the mountains and the snow. I have always wanted to live in colorado

Straight up Skiing is just old news.

I skiid a bit when I was little.. and I never liked it.. it just felt so lame..

Anybody that knows how to ride a snowboard will tell you its way better.

Its easier, more practical and you can do some crazy tricks without snapping your ankles off.

Skiis are just a pain in the ass.

Then again.. i sucked it.. excelled at snowboarding... meh..

Its in lake Tahoe on the Nevada/California border. Top of Heavenly is probably the most beautiful view anywhere on this planet.
