MSO 2007 is great, many new features, new layout, looks great. I downloaded it for free, i can get a link going here if anyone is interested, very easy to download

I'm hoping my school will get it so students can have it. Rumor has it they are teaching Office '07 and Vista this coming Spring semester so that means they should have a large volume licensed software of each to distribute to the students.


One good thing about school = free software. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 = Free. Visio, Windows server 2003, all the good stuff!

FREE download ? what's the link ?

is it TRULY FREE ? or a trail version ?

100% full, and it is the BEST version you can get, not the basic,etc. version.

What adware did your scanner pick up? I've ran Panda Antivirus on it as well as Spyware Doctor. Nothing was found.

Did Norton give you a name of the adware it found?

I've ran a bundle of test now and can't find anything. Plus if you already have a program that has a virtual rom drive device, you don't even need the second program.

Here are your options for other people:

You can mount the .iso file (which is an image of the microsoft's office cd) to a virtual dvd/cd-rom and hit load or run or whatever text your program uses and it will install. Alcohol 120% and alot of programs have ability to do that, or use the one provided in the 2nd link.

You can use image editing (isoBuster, isoMaker, alot of software for this free) and extract the raw data from within the image and run the set-up file.

Easiet is the first step. This is 100% full and comes with the usually Office pack (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.) Very nice download, I appreciate it muchly.

Any questions/help with the file I am free for use.

I downloaded both files and installed the second one (daemon tools). How do I install Office file ?

The Daemon tools file does nothing

extract the folder (MSO) and in the new extracted folder there should be 2 files, open up the one with the symbol (totally forgot the name) with daemon tools, easy setup from there.

enjoy! anyother questions ill be happy to answer. this new MSO looks great and i like the new setup/features.

well you need to install that again. download winrar to extract the files.

Winrar is like Winzip (program that compresses a file(s) into one file with hopes of reducing size and complexity.) After uncompressing it, you'll get an .iso file amongst other files.

This is the image file of the cd that has all the software. You use the second link to open this.

OR if you have a program that has a VIRTUAL DRIVE CD/DVD ROM (A fake cd-rom drive basically) you can mount the .iso file to this drive and run it as if you inserted an actual cd in the drive.

now I can't download the daemon tool

I'm getting a download error

it downloads but then I can't install it

anybody else having this problem ?

Maybe look in your temp or temporary internet files folders and see if a copy is there. I personally thought he was talking about an installer for the program itself.

I just used Alcohol 120%, mounted the iso image to the virtual drive and then hit load. Ran awesome there. Maybe try the trial of Alcohol 120% and see if you can get it to go then.
